RACE 1: BARRON BROTHERS LIVESTOCK MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m
MARKISTA – Slow to begin.
JABBS – Began awkwardly. Upon returning to scale Apprentice J. Brand reported her mount was inclined to hang in throughout.
PROGIRL – Hampered between runners shortly after the start.
RACE 2: ANNE DUFF MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 1000m
CAMBOOYA ROCK – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the outside.
ROSIE’S SON – Tightened for room shortly after the start.
CHRISTMAS CHEER – Tightened for room between runners shortly after the start.
DENMAN DREAMING – Began awkwardly.
SNEAKY SNIPER – Blundered and shifted out abruptly approaching the 800m. Upon returning to scale Jockey J. King advised that his saddle slipped shortly after the start and that in opinion this is the reason the runner was inclined to hang in throughout. Trainer representative M. Hicks was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding.
RACE 3: BILL PESKETT (LIFE MEMBER) MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1200m
No Racing Incidents.
RACE 4: GOOLBURRA PAST CO. BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP – 1400m
TRAIL BUSTER - Declared a late scratching at 11:55am due to no rider being available.
PARANA – Raced wide without cover throughout.
GRAVITY FORCE – Slow to begin.
RACE 5: RYTRANS MANUFACTURING LTD BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 1400m
JACARANDA PRINCE – Slow to begin.
