Race 1: DEAGON TRAINERS ‘WHOPPER STEPHENS’ MAIDEN PLATE – 900M
ISPAHAN – Slow away.
REINA DE HIELO – Slow away. Raced greenly in the home straight.
POMBE BELLE - Raced wide throughout. A post veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer Q.Kearney was advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to its next start.
VISION AND VALUES - Raced wide throughout.
Race 2: STEVE’S MOTORWORLD DEAGON ‘BROADHURST’ MAIDEN PLATE – 900M
TIN’S POCKET - Reared over in gates injuring its rider. Declared a late scratching at 1:46pm.
All bets on TINS POCKET were ordered to be refunded and the following deductions to apply:
22 cents in the dollar for the win INDESTRUCTIBLE
10 cents in the dollar for place winner INDESTRUCTIBLE
23 cents in the dollar for 2nd place MAGIC STREET
28 cents in the dollar for the 3rd place NAYTELLRHI WORLD
Trainer S. Strazzieri was advised that the gelding would require a further barrier certificate prior to racing again.

LILY MY GIRL - Held up approaching the 400m.
ROBERT’S COMMAND – Hung in.
Race 4: JIM MCKEERING REAL ESTATE ‘MERIDIEN’ MAIDEN H’CAP – 1300M
BEER ‘N’ BARMAID - Slow into stride.
DYNAMIC EMBRACE - Slow into stride. Rider A. Allen reported the mare struck itself in running and was inclined to hang in, as a result was he was unable to ride the horse out in the straight.
CANADEN - Steadied from heels near the 900m.
Race 5: THE ALIWELD DEAGON CUP BM70 H’CAP – 2100M
KURRAJONG DRAGON - Began awkwardly.
DESERT HARRY - Began awkwardly.
GIDDYUP KIRKY - Held up from the 600m until the 400m.
Race 6: FISH ON FLINDERS ‘COTTAGE’ CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1650M
CASA CIELLO – Slow to begin.
VAN HOOLIGAN - Slow to begin.
SEE CRUISE - Slow to begin.

FASTA THAN LIGHT - Blundered at the start. Steadied making the first turn. Held up approaching the home turn.
