General

Following the running of race three, the Dingo Race Club elected to water the track without the consultation of stewards or the rider group. Stewards with a delegation of senior riders inspected the track following attempted remedial work by the race club to fix effected sections of the track and it was a unanimous decision that the track was unsafe for racing due to surface water. As such the riders group withdrew their services and the remainder of the meeting was abandoned at 4.00pm.

Stewards advised the Dingo Racing Club that in future no remedial work should be conducted on the track without the express permission of the stewards.
