Race 1: BRC GIDDY UP CLUB RB 0 - 70 Handicap 1050 metres
 
MORT DOYLE – Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
TRACY MAY – Slow to begin, inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight. Rider reported at scale that the mare did not feel entirely comfortably in its action throughout.
 
VERSETTO – Inclined to lay in under pressure over the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have shifted its off-fore plate.
 
DERULO – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
KING OF THE DESERT – Bumped at the start by GRAND CHALLENGE. Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
LOGAN'S BLADE – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
GRAND CHALLENGE – Began awkwardly and shifted out bumping  KING OF THE DESERT.
 
PETITE ELLE – Trainer Vic Heading was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider by the required time. Stewards approved T. Marshall to ride the mare. Raced three wide with cover throughout and was inclined to hang out throughout.  As the mare was late arriving on track, she underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start.
 
Race 2: GALLOPERS SPORTS CLUB Class 6 Handicap 1615 metres
 
FIRSTHAND – Raced three wide in the early stages and was able to stride forward to obtain the position outside the leader by the 900m.
 
ALDERMAN  - Over-raced in the early stages and passing the 1300 metres
 
GREEN JACKET – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
SO DAPPER – Inclined to lay out under pressure over the 200m.
 
Race 3: ABBIE SWEEPER F&M BENCHMARK 75 Handicap 1200 metres
 
VERANES – Slow to begin.
 
MOLLY'S ROCKING – Slow to begin.
 
MISHANI BLOSSOM – Restrained in the early stages from a wide barrier to gain a position closer to the rail.
 
PIPING ROLLER – Raced three wide without cover throughout. Rider Josh Adams was issued a reprimand under the provisions AR 132 (7)(a)(ii) for using his whip six times prior to the 100m, one more than permitted.
 
PULL ANCHOR – Restrained in the early stages from a wide barrier to gain a position closer to the rail.
 
SMART 'N' SEXY – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
Race 4: SKY RACING OPEN Quality Handicap 2020 metres
 
SO YOU WIN – Shifted out near 600m and bumped ADVANCE WARNING.
 
MAGNUFIGHTER – Shifted out passing the 900m and bumped heavily with PHAISTOS.
 
PHAISTOS – Bumped heavily by MAGNUFIGHTER passing the 900m.
 
GET STUCK IN – Rider R. Maloney was reprimanded under the provisions of AR 132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip six times prior to 100m, one more than permitted.
 
ROMAKASH – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
ADVANCE WARNING – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out and bumped TORRENS. Bumped near 600m by SO YOU WIN.
 
TORRENS – Bumped at start by ADVANCE WARNING. Over-raced in the early stages.
 
Race 5: BRC MEMBERSHIP PLUS Class 3 Plate 1350 metres
 
BOYLES – Rider reported the gelding hung out for a major part of the race.  Returning to scale was dislodged from the gelding and was able to remount soon afterwards.
 
AVOWAL – Jumped very awkwardly and shifted out.
 
LOVE EXPRESS – Rider B. Stewart was fined $500 under the provisions of AR 132 (7)(a)(ii) for using his whip six times prior to the 100m, one more than permitted,
 
EELLOH – Had to be restrained from the heels of MAGIC CONQUEROR near the 450m.
 
LOT'S WIFE – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
MISS PENFOLD – Checked at the start to avoid the heels of AVOWAL.
 
Race 6: TAB VENUE MODE C,G&E BENCHMARK 75 Handicap 1200 metres
 
SNOWZONE – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out.
 
MARMARIS – Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
RAGING POLE – Hampered at start when tightened by SNOWZONE.
 
ECKER ROAD – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
FISH ON – Over-raced middle stages and passing the 600m had to be restrained from the heels of BUGALUGS.
 
GLOBAL CITIZEN – When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of the gelding, Rider R Fradd explained that GLOBAL CITIZEN travelled well in a handy position but didn’t respond to his riding over the final 400m. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed an abrasion to the near fore-leg. Trainer  Toby Edmonds advised that the gelding will now be freshened up and will now be restricted to lesser class races than that of today’s.
 
 
Race 7:  ROKU GIN BENCHMARK 85 Handicap 1110 metres
 
JARDIN ROUGE – When over-racing near the 650m had to be restrained from the heels of MISS IANO.
 
PERSUADER – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
GOODONYA SONJA – Blundered badly at the start and shifted out.
 
SAY HAYA – Over-raced badly in the early stages.
 
GYPSY TOFF -A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have been galloped on and had sustained a laceration to the near hind hock.
 
RUUCA – Checked at start to avoid the heels of GOODONYA SONJA.
 
 
Race 8: HELLBENT AT YARRAMAN PARK GOLD EDITION PLATE 1200 metres
 
SAFEWORK – Slow to begin.
 
ACROBATIC – Had to be restrained from heels of AWAY GAME for some distance between the 800m and the 600m.
 
BATANGAS ENTRY – Bumped heavily at the start by LADY BANFF. Had to be restrained from the heels of ACROBATIC between the 800m and the 600m. Checked to avoid the heels of the tiring ACROBATIC near the 250m
 
LADY BANFF – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out  bumping BATANGAS ENTRY. Eased when momentarily tightened near the 800m.
 
ROGUE ROCKER –It was noted following the event that the gelding cast its off hind plate.
 
FLEET DOVE -  Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
THUNDER MANIA – Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
Race 9: TAB LOUGH NEAGH STAKES 1350 metres
 
 
NICCANOVA – Slow to begin.
 
TAMBO'S MATE – Raced four wide without cover and over-raced in the early stages.
 
CHAPTER AND VERSE – Unable to secure running rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight.
 
RIVER RACER – Trainer Les Ross advised that it was intention to settle in a handy position from the wide barrier. The horse settled in a midfield position with cover. Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
SANDBAR – Rider Larry Cassidy was fined $200 under the provisions of AR 190(3). Stewards approved Ron Stewart as the replacement rider.
 
SOXAGON – Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
 
PHANTOM FALCON – Steadied when tightened for room near the 1100m. Rider T Harrison (Epic Girl) was advised to provide greater clearance in the future. It was noted following the race it cast its near fore plate.
