Race 1: FUNCTIONS AT TATTERSALL'S QTIS Three-Year-Old BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1630 metres
 
Lammer (NZ) – Jumped away awkwardly. Laid out from the 600m.
 
Executive Stress – Raced three wide in the middle stages.
 
Race 2: EVENTS AT TATTERSALL'S QTIS Three-Year-Old BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1050 metres
 
Steady Ready – Began awkwardly and was slow to begin. Near the 800m had to be steadied outwards across the heels of FLAMING CONQUEST.
 
Yankee River – Slow into stride.
 
Eurydice – Raced three wide throughout. Mis-strode near the 600m.  
 
After the running of Race 2 the track was downgraded to a Heavy 8 at 12.32pm.
 
Race 3: WEDDINGS AT TATTERSALL'S BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 1110 metres
 
Proper Rogue – Raced three wide throughout.
 
Say Haya – Began awkwardly and was slow away.
 
Fetch – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn. Approaching the 300m improved into a marginal run to the inside of ICE IN VANCOURVER and raced in restricted room until leaving the 200m.
 
Tudor Music – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
Race 4: JIM MCGOWAN BENCHMARK 85 Handicap 1050 metres
 
Bold Style – Momentarily inconvenienced near the 300m.
 
Osamu – Jockey B.Thompson reported at scale that in his opinion the gelding did not handle today’s track conditions.
 
Mort Doyle – Raced in restricted room shortly after the start.
 
Never Paid – Jockey K.Wilson-Taylor was reprimanded pursuant to AR 132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip 6 times before the 100m that being 1 more than permitted, 1 more than permitted.
 
Race 5: TATTERSALL'S ARCADE Class 3 Plate 1630 metres
The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow Jockey B.Thornton, the rider of SHEPPEY, to review the race footage to consider lodging an objection. After viewing the footage, he decided not to proceed and correct weight was subsequently declared on the judges’ semaphored placings.
 
Coup De Tonnerre – Blundered badly upon jumping. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. When asked to comment on the gelding’s performance, Jockey R.Maloney stated that the gelding had blundered badly on jumping and he then believed that the tempo of the race was not suited to the gelding however was overall disappointing.
 
First Son – Bumped with RED WAVE at the 300m.Bumped with SERGEANT SILVA on several occasions near the 150m.
 
Red Wave – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
Goldeel – Laid out under pressure in the straight.
 
 
Race 6: TATTERSALL'S LIFE MEMBERS BENCHMARK 80 Handicap 2030 metres
 
The Ritz – When questioned about the gelding’s performance, Apprentice K.Wilson Taylor stated that the gelding is a horse that does not necessarily appreciate running inside other runners and is better suited when able to obtain a position to the outside of the field, however having drawn an inside barrier today, found itself between runners and can be attributed to its poor performance. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed to have intermitted coughing. Trainer M.Morrison was advised that the gelding must undergo a endoscopic examination prior to having its next race start.
 
Stubai – Jumped the crossing and made contact with the inside running rail which became dislodged which was quickly rectified by track staff. Commenced to race keenly near the 800m and had to be restrained when over racing in restricted room shortly after.Upon return to scale, Jockey Adin Thompson was struck on the left wrist by a horseshoe near the 800m.
 
Vendidit – Near the 1700m commenced to over race when placed in restricted room between THE RITZ and ZA CEIBAS.
 
Bump'n'run – Pulled hard in the early stages. Returned having cast its near hind plate.
 
Race 7: THE CONSERVATORY Class 6 Handicap 1630 metres
The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow Jockey M. Du Plessis, the rider of CHOCOLATIER, to review the race footage to consider lodging an objection. After viewing the footage, he decided not to proceed and correct weight was subsequently declared on the judges’ semaphored placings.
 
Aussie Nugget – Slow to begin.
 
Jetty – Near the 800m was checked when taken in by CHOCOLATIER which was also checked when SLOW HANDS who was racing to their outside, shifted in when not sufficiently clear to do so. Apprentice K.Wilson-Taylor was charged pursuant to a charge of careless riding AR131(a) and suspended for fourteen (14) days, commencing the 12th of September, and until the 25th of September inclusive. Apprentice K.Wilson-Taylor was advised of his right to internal review. Laid out over the last 200m.
 
Jakama – Approaching the 800m eased off the heels of JETTY.
 
Chocolatier – Buffeted over the concluding stages.
 
Race 8: SKY RACING TATTERSALL'S MEMBERS CUP
1350 metres
 
Sir Rocket – Hung in the straight placing its rider at a disadvantage.
 
Invinciano – Jumped awkwardly.
 
Deep Sceiva – Over raced in the early stages.
 
Fleet Dove – Raced three wide.
 
 
Race 9:DES LAMBART MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 80 Handicap 1350 metres
 
Tappy's One (NZ) – Dipped badly making the turn into the home straight.Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings.
 
Love Struck – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding having sustained minor lacerations on the left hind left consist with being galloped on and returned cast the left hind plate.
 
Enterprise Mia – Slow to begin. Shortly after was severely buffeted between runners and lost ground. Over raced in the early stages.Raced wide from the 600m.
