GENERAL
Jockey A Butler was fined $100 under AR 86 for being inappropriate dressed.
Apprentice N Vuille was fined $200 under AR 92(12) in that she failed to claim to her riding weight in Race 1 HILDESHEIM and Race 3 SPANNA.
Apprentice L Dodds was fined $300 under AR 92(12) in that he failed to claim to his riding weight in Race 2 SPECIAL NELL and Race 3 MYTH PRINT.
As the photo finish system was not operating correctly, the judge’s placings for Races 2, 3 and 4 were confirmed from video footage.
Race 1: Bill White’s Electrics & Refridgeration BM 65 Handicap- 1300 metres
HAYYLER’S DRAGON- Little slow to begin.
TELESIUS- Slow to begin.
Race 2: Emerald Coaches Maiden Handicap- 1200 metres
Lunar Command- Difficult to load. Trainer B Trimble reported he would give the filly barrier practice to rectify this issue.
NINETTE KAN- Jumped out onto another runner.
URCHIN- Near 900 metres, improved onto the heels of another runner and shifted out. In doing so, another runner was taken wider.
REVENUE RAIDER- Raced wide throughout.
Race 3: Steve Taylor & Partners Class B Handicap- 1200 metres
HOT PLATE- Contact with another runner at the start.
SAY MY NAME- Contact with another runner at the start.
MAXADRAMA- Raced wide throughout. Near 200 metres, bumped with another runner.
SANTA FE DREAMING – Slow to begin. Near 900 metres, raced in restricted room and was eased.
BARBOUGE- Jumped outwards at the start.
THE ALAMO- Near 200 metres, bumped with another runner.
MYTH PRINT- Raced wide throughout.
Race 4: MSP Photography Open Handicap- 1100 metres
HEADHUNTER- Began awkwardly.
PLUM BOB- Slow into stride.
Race 5: Emerald Service Centre QTIS 2YO Plate - 1000 metres
WHISKEY LAD- Bounded in the air on jumping and made contact with another runner and lost some ground.
HOWZAT FOR LUCK- Contact with another runner at the start and raced wide throughout.
ALWAYS DOUBLE – Slow to begin.
MISS RAPLHIE- Reared over behind the barriers and dislodged the rider harmlessly. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any abnormalities.
CRAIGLEA ALTISE- Slow into stride.
