RACE 8: SUBSCRIBE TO AQUIS FARM ON YOUTUBE.COM Class 6 Plate – 1400m

Stewards considered an objection lodged by J. Lloyd the rider of AUERBACH which finished second against STAR REFLECTION (D. Browne) being declared the winner on the grounds of alleged interference over the final 100m. Upon considering the evidence Stewards established that STAR REFLECTION shifted in under pressure over the final 100m and near the 50m brushed AUERBACH, which had shifted out marginally at the same point. Given that STAR REFLECTION had come from behind AUERBACH upon straightening and that AUERBACH had shifted out marginally thereby contributing to the minimal interference, Stewards were not satisfied that the incident had a material affect on the placings and dismissed the protest.
