Jockey B El-lssa explained that approaching the 1400m he raced tightly between runners and at that point had Jockey S Galloway to his outside and was obliged to settle in a rearward position on the rails. Jockey B El-lssa further explained that approaching he 700m was disappointed for a run between Outback Gladiator and Lady Snitch which laid in and tightened his run. Jockey B Elssa then stated if he were to attempt to improve wider on the course approaching the home turn, he would have had to check his mount to avoid the heels of Lady Snitch which was still racing to his outside. Jockey B El-lssa then elected to look for run nearer the inside approaching the home turn and again was obliged to steady after improving off the heels of Outback Gladiator which shifted out before then being shifting back to the rails in order to secure clear running. Stewards after considering jockey B El-Issa’s  explanation and on review of the films noted his comments.
