RACE 1 WAGNERS PLATE MAIDEN 1000M
SIR CLISBY- Jumped out of the start contacting another runner.
CHAMPAGNE LILY- Bumped by another run at the start .
DUPRE- Raced wide throughout.
CUBA ROSE- Raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages.
OVA WAITIN- Hung out in the middle stages and was not competitive over the latter sections of the race. A warning was issued.
RACE 2. QUBE PORTS HCP CLASS 2 1000M
CRAIGLEA SASHA- Trainer Mr B Robinson was fined $100 for not producing the registration papers for the mare.
SHES RICH- Jumped awkwardly with her head in the air and lost ground.
TESTA MY POLISH- Jumped out at the start then raced wide throughout.
CHOSEN COURT- Wide throughout.
SQUEEMI- Shifted out at the 100M. Rider advised Stewards that the horse hung out for most of the race.
RACE 3 GRAINCORP HCP CLASS B 1200m
GREY DERBY- Slow to jump and raced greenly in the early stages.
SAGACIOUS LADY- Slow into stride.
DEPUTY PECK- Forced to race wide without cover in the early & middle stages.
DARLING BE GOOD- Under hard riding approaching the winning post, shifted out very abruptly nearing the finish unbalancing the rider. Appr L Tilley felt that DARLING BE GOOD shied at the winning post causing her to duck out sharply.
CHARZOOKA- Appr A Murphy (CASSE BLEU) was reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift inwards at the 900m causing CHARZOOKA to be placed in restricted room and be eased.
RACE 4 PORT OF BRISBANE HCP BENCHMARK 65 1400M
HEART OF MANY- Raced wide with no cover in the middle stages.
AIMING HIGH- Rider M Murphy was reprimanded for failing to weigh in for fifth placing.
RACE 5 INTERLINK PLATE. MAIDEN 1400M
LILITH OF EDEN was scratched at 1:40pm as there was no rider available.
UNDER THE WEATHER- Held up slightly approaching the home turn. Jockey S Apthorpe was cautioned for using his whip on consecutive occasions prior to the 100m.
CASPERCCINO- Raced ungenerously in the middle stages and raced very widely down the straight after being bumped outwards on the home turn.
LOOK IM DANCING- Shifted out on the home turn contacting another runner.
MAKE HAAY- Jockey D McMaster reported that she felt the horse was sore in front on pulling up. Stewards requested that the mare be inspected by Veterinary officer who advised that the mare had left of the course before the inspection could be made. Subsequently Trainer J Sutton reported to Stewards that in the days following the event the mare had pulled up well without any obvious abnormalities detected.
