Race 1: INTERLINK BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP – 1200m
The start of time of the event was amended to 1:48pm.
SONG ONE – Over raced for a short distance approaching the 800m.
SWOOP – Began awkwardly.
HEY DOLL – Slow to begin.
ESSAKA – Sustained an injury to the hind legs when loading and was declared a late scratching at 1:45pm by order of the on course veterinarian. Stewards ordered that all monies invested in ESSAKA be refunded with the following deductions to apply:
9 cents in the dollar for the win - #8
11 cents in the dollar for the place of winner - #8
16 cents in the dollar for 2nd placegetter – #7
18 cents in the dollar for 3rd placegetter - #9
Race 2: WAGNERS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m  
No racing Incidents.   
Race 3: GRAINCORP CLASS B HANDICAP – 1000m
COASTING – Began awkwardly shifting in abruptly.
CARTLAND – Began awkwardly.
PRIMMISCUOUS – Slow to begin.
HUSSEYS HOG – Slow to begin.
LETITRIPOTATOCHIP – Raced wide without cover throughout.
SHELLY’S DREAM – Reared in the barriers and after being assessed by the on course veterinarian was declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards at 2:52pm. Steward’s ordered that all monies invested in SHELLY’S DREAM be refunded with the following deductions to apply:
0 cents in the dollar for the win - #2
9 cents in the dollar for the place of winner - #2
11 cents in the dollar for 2nd placegetter – #12
4 cents in the dollar for 3rd placegetter - #1
Race 4: QUBE PORTS CLASS B HANDICAP – 1400m
Stewards inspected the surface of the track following a weather event and deemed it safe for racing. Stewards downgraded the surface to a Soft 5 at 4:15pm. The start time of this event was subsequently amended to 4:30pm.
CHERMSIDE MISS – Blundered approaching the 1200m. Raced wide without cover throughout the early and middle stages.
STORMBORN ANGEL – Raced wide without cover throughout.
Race 5: PORT OF BRISBANE CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1400m  
Following another weather event, Stewards inspected the surface of the track and deemed it safe for racing. Stewards downgraded the surface to a Soft 7 at 5:05pm. The start time of this event was subsequently amended to 5:20pm.
