Race 1: Allan Barnard Plastering Class B Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – WORK OF WORDS 2nd – KAP IT OFF 3rd – AHOTONE 4th – CRAIGLEA ALDI

HONEST FRIEND – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Had to be restrained off heels near the 800 metres. Became awkwardly placed on heels after bumping with another runner near the 250 metres.

WORK OF WORDS - Bumped with another runner on jumping. Was inclined to over-race when crossed by another runner near the 700 metres.

RED SHAWL – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Shifted in near the 250 metres bumping with another runner. Jockey F Edwards was advised to exercise more care. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had sustained a minor laceration to the off hind leg.

AHOTONE - Bumped with another runner on jumping.

CRAIGLEA ALDI – Was slowly into stride after beginning very awkwardly.

SHORT TERM – Was inclined to race ungenerously after improving onto heels near the 800 metres.

SONIC BOOMER – Was caught wide without cover for the majority.

Race 2: Caltex Gordonvale QTIS Maiden Plate 1100 metres:
1st – SAY LA FI 2nd – BOLT ON BY 3rd – SHADOW MOUNTAIN 4th – ONYA MISS

HOTEL HILLTOP – Was fractious in the barriers. Was buffeted between runners after beginning awkwardly.

JOHNNY FIX IT – Jumped out at the start bumping with another runner. Shifted out abruptly soon after straightening. Was inclined to race greenly over the concluding stages.

WAR SHADOW – Jumped in at the start bumping with another runner.

MONASHEE LASS – Knuckled over on jumping.

ONYA MISS – Was inclined to hang out in the early stages inconveniencing another runner. Jumped the crossing at the 800 metres and bumped with another runner.

BOLT ON BY – Was inconvenienced in the early stages by another runner which was inclined to hang out.

SAY LA FI – Was inclined to over-race in the early stages. Was bumped near the 800 metres by another runner which jumped the crossing. Was wide at the home turn.

NOVA CHINA – Was caught wide without cover for the majority.

Race 3: Tuff Tyres Benchmark 55 Handicap 1360 metres:
1st – GLOBAL GURU 2nd – CARLSON’S FELT 3rd – FAST’N’SHARP 4th – THE HAWK ETERNAL

HOTEL SPLENDIDO – Was fractious in the barriers. Was slowly away after beginning awkwardly.

GLOBAL GURU – Was unable to muster pace in the early stages.

I AM BRUSE – Was inclined to race keenly in the early stages.

MISHANI PERSUADER – Raced wide for the majority.

Race 4: JPMI Roy Marsh Memorial Open Handicap 1360 metres:
1st – KING MAGNUSSON 2nd – SCHNELLES PFERD 3rd – LIL’ RED MONKEY 4th – GUNDY STAR

CHATEAU DETTORI – Was fractious in the barriers. Was slowly into stride. Was inclined to race ungenerously for a short distance near the 800 metres. Was inclined to lay in down the running.

BO ROSSA – Began awkwardly. Had to be restrained at the home turn when another runner shifted in after being bumped.

GUNDY STAR – Was inclined to over-race in the early stages. Became awkward for a short distance rounding the home turn.

LIL’ RED MONKEY – Shifted in at the home turn after being bumped by another runner.

SCHNELLES PFERD – Bumped with another runner at the home turn.

Race 5: Silverback Ute Trays MM FNQ Up & Coming Stayers Benchmark 45 Handicap 1800 metres:
1st – MAKING HEADLINES 2nd – HE’S HARADA’S SON 3rd – FRUMBOLI 4th – SMALL CHANGE

SMALL CHANGE – Began awkwardly. Stewards fined Jockey N Yadi the sum of $200.00 under the provisions of AR137A for using the whip on 8 occasions prior to the 100 metres.

MAKING HEADLINES – Shifted out abruptly on jumping. Was inclined to shift out under pressure soon after straightening inconveniencing another runner.

MOCCADILES – Was inclined to lay in down the running on the 1st occasion.

FRUMBOLI – Was inconvenienced by another runner which was inclined to shift out under pressure soon after straightening.
