Correct weight was delayed to view patrol footage to determine whether OMITTANCE was afforded a fair start. After reviewing the footage, Stewards deemed that the barrier gate of OMITTANCE failed to open with the rest of the field denying the horse a fair start therefore was declared a non-runner.
Subsequent to the event, all monies invested on OMITTANCE were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.

10 cents in the dollar for 2nd place No.7

RACE 4: TATTERSALL’S RACING CLUB QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1170m

Stewards accepted trainer W.Farrington’s explanation of late gear change from bar plates to race plates. MISS ALEXANDRA was pre race vetted and cleared fit to race.
Start was delayed when ELUSIVE LEGACY required farrier attention. Slow to jump and lost considerable ground. Trainer J.Phillips was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare's poor performance.
Start was further delayed when FEROCIOUSJEWEL was difficult to load. Trainer G.Richardson was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare's barrier manners.
TYPHOON TREV – Jumped awkwardly and raced wide throughout.
MANGO TANGO- Layed in under pressure in the home straight.
COL’S PRIDE – Raced wide throughout.
RACE 5:CDL JIM CONNONOLLY MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP 1030m

RUSTIC PLAY – Jumped awkwardly.
LATIN AMERICAN – Bled both nostrils during the event for the first time. Trainer B. Hull was advised that the gelding would be barred from racing for 3 months and requires 1000m gallop prior to racing again.
GO DIGGER – App. M.Savva reported the gelding resented the kickback. Post race veterinary report revealed a laceration to the near fore fetlock and lost an off hind plate in running.

1st- Blaze to Fortune 2nd – Glenthorn Avenue 3rd – Fasta Than Light 4th – Ferment
