Race 1: ANZAC Day Class 1 Handicap 1460 metres:
1st – WINDSOR GOLD 2nd – ROYAL COUPE 3rd – MISHANI NEFERTITI 4th – MARIO
SILVER BOWS – Slow to begin.
WINDSOR GOLD – Passing the 350 metres had to be steadied off the heels of a tiring runner.
Race 2: Diggers Maiden Plate 900 metres:
1st – RED CHEVY COUPE 2nd – PERDANERITE 3rd – WHO’S YOUR CADDY 4th – ZATOCHIO
RED SOLO which was resuming from a lengthy spell, underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and was cleared to take its place in the field.
COOL ROSE – Slow into stride.
MAGITORIAL – Laid in from the 600 metres making contact with another runner on several occasions.
WHO’S YOUR CADDY – Laid out from the 600 metres making contact with another runner on several occasions.
Race 3: Gallipoli Ratings Band 0 – 45 Handicap 900 metres:
1st – UNCHAIN JAYNE 2nd – ON THE BID 3rd – BACKTOSPEC 4th – OUR PROMISE CI
BETTY ISABEL – Slow to begin.
THE HANKINATOR – Began awkwardly. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Passing the 100 metres was inconvenienced by another runner which shifted in under pressure.
OUR PROMISE CI – Passing the 100 metres shifted in under pressure despite the efforts of its rider inconveniencing another runner.
Race 4: Last Post Benchmark 60 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – ROYAL PHYSICIAN 2nd – LA RIVE DROITE 3rd – LAGUNA VISTA 4th – ZIGGY’S SPIRIT
SONIC BOOMER – Slow to begin.
WATCH THE RED – Slow into stride.
ZIGGY’S SPIRIT – Approaching the first turn passing the 700 metres had to be steadied and lost ground when another runner which was hanging out shifted ground.
LA RIVE DROITE – Approaching the first turn passing the 700 metres commenced to hang out and inconvenienced another runner. Upon return to scale Apprentice N Summers reported the mare had difficulty negotiating the tight turning track and hung out throughout as a result. Shifted its off hind plate in the running.
Race 5: Dawn Service Class B Handicap 1180 metres:
1st – CORNISH TALES 2nd – ORCHESTRAL PRINCE 3rd – THE TEENY HASS 4th – DYNA CI
BOMBER MISS – Jumped awkwardly.
ORCHESTRAL PRINCE – Raced greenly down the home straight.
