Race 1: BENTLEY’S QLD CLASS B HANDICAP (1) - 1000 metres

ELLE STYLE – Apprentice Q. Krogh was a late declaration on this mare. Stewards accepted trainer H. Forster explanation. The horse travelled wide in the early stages of the event.

I’M MAKING A CLANG -- Travelled wide in the early stages of the event.

DANROCKING -- Travelled wide in the late stages to gain clear running.

CHESNEY -- Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide to avoid the dusty track conditions.

Race 2: SUFFREN MOORE CIVIL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres

JAGUAR EDITION – Jockey R. Hancock was the late declaration on the gelding. Trainer T. Austin was fined $100 for this late declaration.

MALIBU THIEF -- Travelled wide for the majority of the event and inclined to hang in over the concluding stages.

OH ANNIE – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

DELIGHTSOME -- Reared as the gates opened and bucked on several occasions during the race and took no competitive part. Trainer N. King was advised the filly would be required to pass a barrier jump-out prior to its next start.

MISS RALPHIE – Jumped away awkwardly. Upon returning to the mounting yard the filly was extremely agitated. A post race veterinary inspection revealed an elevated heart rate and trainer B. Dixon was advised a veterinary certificate would be required prior to its next start.

Race 3: CENTRAL WEST RURAL CLASS B HANDICAP (2) - 1000 metres

RAPID QUALO – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

ARVAKUR – Travelled wide throughout.

VICE PRESIDENT – Slow away and travelled wide throughout the event. A post race veterinary inspection found the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg, trainer R. Simpson was advised a veterinary certificate and a barrier jump-out would be required prior to the next start.

GO SAI – Was fractious in the barrier stalls and refused to jump, the gelding then sat down in the barriers and dislodged jockey R. Hancock before escaping from the rear of the barriers. Trainer C. Prow was advised the gelding would be required to pass two barrier jump-outs prior to its next start.

Race 4: PRO TYRES / RAY WHITE LONGREACH CLASS 6 PLATE - 1200 metres

SPIRIT OF MANY – Was taken out wide at the 700m by another runner and had to be eased off heels losing considerable ground.

DOMINANT PLAY – Was slow away and travelled wide throughout the event.

KEV’S DESTINY – Was hampered at the start by another runner then approaching the 700m hung out for the remainder of the event. Trainer C. Prow was advised the gelding would be required to pass a trial prior to its next start.

EMPEROR – Jumped outwards hindering another runner.

Race 5: GEORGE BOURNE & ASSOCIATES BM 60 HANDICAP - 1200 metres

THE PANTZ – Travelled wide for the majority of the event and tended to lay in down the home straight.

ANOTHER SHADE – Reared as the gates opened causing the gelding to be slow away.

Race 6: NATIONAL AUSTRAILIA BANK WILLOWIE CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1400 metres

SECRETS – Was slow away.

COCO DUBAWI – Jumped away awkwardly.

LIGHT WARRIOR – Jumped away awkwardly causing the gelding to lose ground.

NEPTUNE EXPRESS – Jockey S. McGovern fined $100 (AR 120(b)) for being overweight. When no other rider was available, he was permitted to retain the ride.
