RACE 1: YOUR TEAM, YOUR CLUB, IPSWICH JETS MAIDEN SW PLATE – 1200M

Correct weight was delayed to determine whether GALLANT SAGA (App S. Lacy) was afforded a fair start. After viewing the film it was established that GALLANT SAGA had turned its head to the side as the start was effected and as a result was slow to begin. As such stewards declared the gelding a runner.

SHEER PERSISTENCE – Reared as the start was effected and lost ground. Inside the 100m shifted in abruptly resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten his mount.

STORMY DESTINY – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.

DAME DEMMI - Raced 4 wide without cover throughout.


RACE 2: PENNYWISE – THE PEOPLE'S PAWNBROKER QTIS 3YO BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP – 1680M

SENTIMENTAL PRINCE – After being loaded broke through the front of its barrier, was quickly restrained, examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start.
PREMIERE PLACE – Stood flatfooted at the start and lost ground. Failed to muster speed in the early stages despite the efforts of its rider.

LOFN – Jockey G. Colless could offer no tangible explanation for the filly's poor performance.


RACE 3: BLUSH SKIN & BODY MAIDEN H’CAP – 1680M

YOUWONIT – Began awkwardly and shifted out. Raced wide throughout.

ACADINI – Tightened for room at the start. Near the 400m had to be steadied when disappointed for a run between LILY GISELLE and INGEEGOODBE. A short distance later was inconvenienced by the tiring LILY GISELLE.

TEEKAYO - Tightened for room at the start. Jockey N. Thomas reported at scale that the gelding overraced for the majority of the event.

DAVOR – Inconvenienced near the 800m.

INGEEGOODBE – Held up momentarily approaching the home turn.

BRING ME THE VOICE – Held up rounding the home turn.

REDSERA – Hampered after improving onto the heels of the tiring YOUWONIT near the 400m.

CHATARA – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.

ARRABIATO – When questioned regarding the disappointing performance jockey J. Byrne stated that the gelding travelled comfortably whilst on the bit and approaching the 400m, when placed under pressure failed to respond. He also added that in his opinion the gelding was not comfortable on today's racing surface. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities and a swab sample was taken.


RACE 4: SWICH ON "TURN TO ME" COLTS, GELDINGS & ENTIRES CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1000M

CABANA BOY – Slow to begin.

BALKAN BAMBINO – Began awkwardly, shifted in, made contact with RICH TRADITION and lost ground.

CLOUD CONSORT – Bumped ADERITO at the start and then shifted in making contact with TRESSLES.

RACE 5: ARTICULATE FRAMING FILLIES & MARES CLASS 2 WR 0.5KG H’CAP – 1000M

LADY DUPORTH – Slow to begin.
SONADOR'S PRINCESS – Bumped at the start.

FRENCH CONCESSION – Bumped at the start.

SHUDAPUTARINGONIT – Shifted out at the start making contact with PASSION TO WIN. On entering the home straight had to be steadied when tightened for room between SONADOR'S PRINCESS and FRENCH CONCESSION, which shifted out when not fully clear. Jockey S. Bogenhuber (FRENCH CONCESSION) was reprimanded for this incident.

ABRACADASH – Raced wide in the early stages.

ALL ASSURED – Near the 500m had to be checked after improving onto the heels of SHUDAPUTARINGONIT.

HAVEN ANGEL – Raced wide throughout. Jockey R. Fradd reported that he had some concerns with the mare's action and for this reason he did not pressure his mount over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.


RACE 6: CRUICE CREATIONS LANDSCAPING CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1680M

ANSWERED – Slow to begin.

EIGHT BELOW – Slow to begin. Raced 3 wide from the 800m.

LORD CHAMBERLAIN – Approaching the 1500m commenced to overrace and had to be checked. CALL ME RINGO which was following also had to be checked.

SLALOM – App J. Orman reported that the gelding commenced to overrace near the 1500m and as a result he was caught wide on the track and therefore allowed the gelding to stride forward to take up a position in the lead near the 800m.

AFTON PRINCE – Near the 200m shifted out and bumped SCOUTABOUT.

SANGUINE RED – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.

MADDY'S GIRL – A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the near fore leg. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be produced prior to the mare racing again.


RACE 7: HERE COMES REALWAY CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1350M

ROSE OF WOORIM – Slow to begin. Rounding the home turn when attempting to secure clear running shifted out and bumped MR SEDUCTION.

NERO D'AVOLA – Shifted in at the start.

CODE RED – Tightened for room at the start.

ROSDANE – Began awkwardly. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
EXPAT ENVY – Raced wide throughout. Lost an off fore plate in running.

MR SEDUCTION – Raced wide throughout.

JACQUERIC – App S. Eilbeck reported to stewards that the gelding had missed the start at its previous 2 starts and therefore had raced at the rear of the field as a result. Jockey Eilbeck stated that today after beginning well she was able to take up a forward position, which has always been the instructions issueds.

POETIC SHOW – When questioned regarding the disappointing performance jockey A. Allen stated that when the pace of the race steadied near the 1000m the filly commenced to overrace and refused to settle. Jockey Allen added he was of the view that this had attributed to the filly's poor performance. Jockey Allen also added that the filly was not entirely comfortable on today's surface. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. The stable indicated that it was now their intention to send the filly for a spell.
