GENERAL
 
Upon arrival at the track, Stewards inspected the racing surface and immediately raised concerns with a section of the track between the 1550m and 1400m. As a consequence, Stewards requested a delegation of Senior riders accompany Stewards to undertake a secondary examination of racing surface. Following this inspection, it was determined that this section of track was unsuitable for racing, and therefore the decision was made that the meeting would be unable to proceed. Consequently, the meeting was called off at 11:50am
