Race 1: Top Pub QTIS 1100 metres:
1st – TRANSFUSION 2nd – OLLIE OOBA 3rd – ASHLEN 4th – LIBERTY MARKET
RED ‘N’ YARRA – Slow at the start and wide throughout. On returning to scale Jockey T. Brummell reported his gates rebounded.
LIBERTY MARKET – Wide throughout.
ALFREEZO – As a start was effected the gates rebounded resulting in the gelding being slow away. Jockey. S. Wilson also reported the gelding was reluctant to stretch out due to the kickback and the track conditions.
Steward requested starter D Jones to inspect the starting gates and rectify the problem.
Race 2: Julia Creek Turf Club Class B Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – BOWLED OVER 2nd – NICABELLE 3rd – CRAIGLEA FOCUS 4th – JOYFUL
FASHION KURV – Was a late withdrawal at 11.30am when no rider was available.
MR. SAUVAGE - Was a late withdrawal at 11.30am when no rider was available.
SPIN AGAIN - Was a late withdrawal at 11.30am when no rider was available.
COWARDOFTHECOUNTY – Stewards permitted D. Ballard to ride the horse 2 kg over its declared weight when no other suitable rider was available. Began awkwardly and shifted out and made contact with another runner.
TEN TORINOS – Bumped at the start.
JOYFUL- Bumped at the start, wide home turn.
GEARSTICK – Jumped out at the start, wide throughout.
BOWLED OVER – Raced wide at the 800m.
Race 3: FM Grader Hire Benchmark 65 Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – TABASCO FORCE 2nd – BEAU DASH 3rd – HOODOO GURU 4th – MONTH OF SUNDAYS
GENERAL CALM – Raced wide at the 800m. On returning to scale Jockey J. Kropp reported his outside gate rebounded as a start was effected.
HIGHLAND LAD – Was slow to begin. Wide throughout.
MAINS POWER – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Wide on the home turn.
MASTERFUL PLAY – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Raced wide at the 800m.
HOODOO GURU – Raced wide at the 800m.
Race 4: Cannington Artesian Express Class 2 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – SHANTUNG BOXER 2nd – RAPID 3rd – REFORMER 4th – WHAT THE HECK

OVERTONE ARIA – Blundered at the start, slow into stride, wide throughout.
RAPID – Wide throughout.
WHAT THE HECK – Wide throughout.
FORTY NIL MANLY – Stewards questioned Jockey A. Spradau regarding the performance of the gelding. He said in his opinion the gelding was having its first start on the dirt and didn’t handle the conditions.

1st – THE GALLOWS 2nd – HASLINGTON 3rd – SIR JAYSTAIN 4th – SMOOTH GENERAL
