Race 1: MERCURY BUSINESS SUPPLIES/PHILL’S PLUMBING & GAS CLASS B Handicap - 1000 metres
MALIBU THIEF, ZAHA DREAM, OUR MAGIC MADGE and CHOICE JOURNEY were all late scratching as there were no available jockeys.
LARABEE – Jumped away awkwardly causing the gelding to be slow away, and then travelled wide for the majority of the event.
KHAPTIVATA – Travelled wide in the early stages of the event.
BEEZIP – Slow into stride.
ELLE STYLE – Was slow away.
SISTER WHISKEY – Hung out down the home straight.
Race 2: ELDERS INSURANCE MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres
ALLBAALACK – Travelled wide in the early stages of the event.
ARMANI PRINCE – Was slow away and travelled wide in the early stages of the race.
SAVAGE LAND – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race.
JUSTE AFTERMIDNITE – Was not competitive from the 600m and trainer R. Little stated the mare may be turned out.
Race 3: CENTRAL WESTERN TAXATION SERVICES BM 70 HANCICAP- 1200 metres
EMPEROR and ICE MELODY were late scratchings as there were no jockeys available.
NO OTHER WAY – Hindered at the start by an inside runner.
SEAGAL – Travelled wide in the early stages of the event.
CONQUISTADOR – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.
DIXIE MISS – Jumped inwards bumping THE PANTZ.
STANDOVER – Jumped outwards making contact with THE PANTZ.
THE PANTZ – Travelled wide in the middle and concluding stages of the event.
ANOTHER SHADE – Was slow away and travelled wide in the early stages and hung out rounding the first turn.
Race 4: LONGREACH CATTLE SPELLING CENTRE CLASS 2 HANDICAP- 1400 metres
COWARDOFTHECOUNTY – Shifted out down the home straight and had to straightened.
BOYS SPLURGE – Travelled wide in the early stages of the race.
HUGHIE AND ME – Hung out down the home straight.
MIGHTY SAVANNAH – Jumped outwards hampering NO INVOLVMENT, then travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race.
NO INVOLVEMENT – Was slow away and over raced in the early stages of the event.
Race 5: 4LG / WEST FM OPEN HANDICAP - 1400 metres
A DEPENDANT, MONBAZILLAC and TAYSTAR were all late scratchings as there were no jockeys available.
PEACE TALKS – Was slow away.
KEREDARI – Jumped away awkwardly.
JOE BLOW – Over raced in the early stages of the race.
