Race 1: SAUNDERS ELECTRICS CONTRACTING RATINGS BAND 0 – 50 HANDICAP - 1100 metres
 
SERIOUS CAPER – Slow into stride.
 
SPURSYN – Slow to begin, then lay in down the home straight.
 
ZAHA DREAM – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
Race 2: CORNETTS IGA CLASS 6 PLATE - 1100 metres 
 
Jockey J. Babarovich was the rider of MENACING and J. Lait the rider of NAYTELLRHI WORLD.
 
I’M A ZULU – Knuckled at the start nearly dislodging the rider causing the gelding to be slow away then travelled wide for much of the race.
 
KAKAKENNY – Slow to begin.
 
MOST WOMEN ARE – Jumped away awkwardly losing ground, then drifted out down the home straight.
 
Race 3: GALILEE BASIN HAULAGE & PLANT HIRE CLASS B HANDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
NICKLEBY – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
WESTBURY ROAD – Slow to begin.
 
ONE UP – Travelled wide for most of the race.
 
WICKED HUNDRED – Travelled wide for the beginning and middle stages.
 
Race 4: SIMSTOCK & CAMM AG OPEN PLATE - 1300 metres      
 
Jockey B. Richardson was the rider of FOUR IRON.
 
FOUR IRON -- Showed no early speed.
 
ALPINE GOLD – Slow into stride.
 
DUTCH COURAGE – Travelled wide in middle and late stages of the race.
 
Race 5: RINGROSE & BUTTON CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS CLASS 4 HANDICAP - 1400 metres 
 
MENACING was eliminated as the gelding started in the Class 6 Plate earlier in the day and was ineligible to run.
 
Jockey J. Babarovich was the rider of I KAN CONQUER.
 
AMADEO – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority.
 
SILENT RAGE – Jockey V. Venkaya was reminded of his obligation to keep his mount straight and be two lengths clear when shifting ground after shifting ground shortly after the start.
 
GREEN LIGHT – Contacted by an inside runner jumping awkwardly.
 
BLETCHY BOY – Eased shortly after the start when SILENT RAGE shifted ground.
 
POWER BUTTON – Approaching the 800m shifted out slightly contacting OUR BEATNIK.
 
OUR BEATNIK – Contacted nearing the 800m and in turn shifted out and contacted FASTPICTH. OUR BEATNIK was checked severely and lost momentum.
 
FASTPITCH – Contacted near the 800m when an inside runner shifted out and then rolled in hindering OUR BEATNIK.
