BOY IN A MILLION – Travelled wide for the majority and lay in down the home straight.
 
THE MARSHALL – Slow into stride.
 
Race 2: LONGREACH REFRIGERATION & AIR CONDITIONING CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200 metres  
 
CLEARWATER – Awkward and slow to begin, travelled wide in the late stages.
 
HIDONAL – Slow into stride and travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
 
IMPLICATE – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 3: SJM CONTRACTING BM 55 HNDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
NICKLEBY – Eased off heels leaving the 1000m when an outside runner shifted ground.
 
HUSSON’S SHOUT – Travelled wide for the majority avoiding the dusty track conditions.
 
ASHIKO – Slow into stride and didn’t handle the dusty track conditions.
 
 
 
 
Race 4: BIRDCAGE HOTEL OPEN HANDICAP - 1300 metres  
 
Jockey D. Sparks was the replacement rider on HOW BIG’S THE HOLE. Jockey J. Esser pulled up distressed after his last ride.
 
ALPINE GOLD – Travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
DUTCH COURAGE – Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
HUNTER ISLAND – Slow into stride.
 
KAKAKENNY – Slow to begin.
 
ROYAL FROLIC – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 5: COOLA CARPETS CLASS 6 PLATE - 1000 metres      
 
SPURSYN – Slow to begin and travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
GESSNER – Slow to begin.
 
GREEN LIGHT – Bounded out of the gates causing the gelding to be slow away.
 
TABRIZ – Slow into stride and travelled wide in the middle and late stages.
