Race 1: BARKERS LONGREACH OFFICE CHOICE QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres
 
THE MARSHALL – Slow to muster early speed and was taken wider on the track to avoid the dusty track conditions.
 
RED RED ROSE – Slow to begin and laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: ANDERSON HARRIS BOOKMAKERS CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
GOLDSAY – Jumped inwards and tightened runners to the inside despite the efforts of the rider. Travelled wide throughout.
 
YOU’RE NOT WANTED – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
AQUAGEM – Tightened and raced in restricted room for several strides shortly after the start.
 
HARVEY STAR – Contacted at the start and taken inwards onto heels shortly after the start.
 
GRANVILLE ISLAND – Tightened and raced in restricted room shortly after the start.
 
BURDEN – Contacted on jumping and then tightened between runners shortly after the start.
 
GOLDEN MOUNT – Laid in shortly after the start tightening runners to the inside momentarily.
 
DOCAROCKET – Jumped very awkwardly outwards making contact with BURDEN.
 
 
Race 3: BROWNE SMASH REPAIRS OPEN PLATE - 1000 metres  
 
 
PRESENT SENSE – Travelled wide with no cover for the majority of the event.
 
MARBEL DUKE – Jumped away awkwardly contacting an inside runner.
 
ZUKAZ – Jockey B Richardson advised stewards on returning to scale that the reason her mount was slow to begin, was due to her not being ready. She attempted to convey this message to the starter but unfortunately wasn’t heard and as a result, her mount was unable to jump with the field and show its customary early pace. Slow to begin and checked shortly after when MENANCING shifted in and BOINGO shifted out. Travelled wide for the majority of the event to avoid the dusty track conditions.
 
BENCHI PEGASUS – Slow to muster early speed.
 
I AM A LAD – Contacted at the start when another runner jumped awkwardly.
 
MENACING – Jumped away awkwardly and inwards heavily contacting ZUKAZ.
 
BOINGO – Jockey R. Hancock was permitted to1kg overweight on the lightly handicapped mare. Contacted ZUKAZ on jumping.
 
 
Race 4: THURECHT BROS. SADDLERY CLASS 4 PLATE - 1100 metres  
 
HACKSAW RIDGE – Contacted at the start when an outside runner jumped inwards.
 
VALFIERNO – Jumped outwards.
 
ARCHADE – Shifted in at the top of the straight and had to be corrected, then laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
KURIL FOX – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
PART THE SEA – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
SLAYDEM – Jumped away awkwardly and inwards contacting an inside runner. Held up for clear running at the top of the straight.
 
WICKED GRIMSHAW – Slow to begin then hampered when an inside runner jumped awkwardly.
 
 
Race 5: WATTS CATERING BM 50 HANDICAP - 1200 metres      
 
FLEWSHOT – Contacted at the start and slow to muster speed, then travelled wide for much of the race.
 
THUNDER – Jumped away awkwardly and outward.
 
AMADEO – Jumped away awkwardly and slow to muster early speed.
 
SNIP’N’DRIFT – Jumped inwards contacting an inside runner.
 
GREAT SHINE – Travelled wide for much of the race with no cover.
