Race 1: BARKERS NEWSAGENCY CLASS B HANDICAP 1200 Metres
 
TENT LOVER – Was declared a late scratching at 12:00pm due to no jockey available.
 
COUPE DE VILLE – Jumped outwards contacting DURANT, over raced in the early stages and contacted the inside running rail near the 750m.
 
KEIRETSU – Jumped away awkwardly, eased off heels near the 1000m & shifted outwards to avoid the dusty track condition.
 
DURANT – Contacted at the start.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE – Slow into stride, travelled wide in the early & middle stages. Laid in down the straight under pressure.
 
 
Race 2: THURECHT BROS SADDLERY CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1200 Metres
 
JARHEAD – Contacted at the start and shifted outwards.
 
SIDETRIP – Jumped away awkwardly & eased off heels near the 850m.
 
GOLDSAY – Jumped outwards contacting JARHEAD & travelled wide in the early & middle stages.
 
ZORRO MACHO – Jumped with head in the air & awkwardly. Jockey Steven Galvin believing the gelding resented the tongue tie.
 
DRAGON IN THE NORTH – Fractious in the gates prior to jumping & jumped away awkwardly with splayed legs.
 
 
Race 3: HYGAIN HORSE FEED MAIDEN PLATE 1000 metres
 
BURRACOMBE – Jumped inwards contacting CRAZY SUSPECT.
 
CRAZY SUSPECT – Reared & laid over in the gates prior to jumping, contacted at the start and climbed the dust in the early stages.
 
SUPER SID – Fractious prior to the start & travelled wide for much of the race.
 
VON’S HEROINE – Slow into stride, travelled wide in the early & middle stages. Laid in down the home straight.
 
 
Race 4: WATTS CATERING RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 HANDICAP 1000 metres
 
AMADEO & ALL TOO SWEET were late scratching’s at 2pm as no riders available.
 
JUXTAPOSED – Blundered at the start causing the gelding to be slow away then travelled wide for much of the race.
 
OLIFANTS – Fractious in the gates prior to the start.
 
SERPENTI – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
BLAINE – Lost off fore plate during the race near the 700m.
 
 
Race 5: ANDERSON & HARRIS BOOKMAKING OPEN PLATE 1000 metres
 
FAB’S COWBOY – Travelled wide in the middle & late stages.
 
ZUKAZ – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
DRAYMAN – Jumped inwards.
 
ZENDAYE – Slow to begin & travelled wide.
 
TOCCO D’ORO – Slow to begin.
 
BOINGO – Awkward to begin.
 
CHAPELCO – Returned lame to the mounting yard in the offside front having cast the shoe during the race. Connections were advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to starting again.
