Race 1: CENTURY BATTERIES@PRO TYRES BENCHMARK 65 Handicap (1400 METRES)
 
YULE MY HERO - Very slow to begin.
 
HELMET HEAD - Squeezed between runners at the start.
 
ENTERPRISE GRAND - Began awkwardly jumping outwards bumping HELMET.
 
WHY WOULDN’T YOU - Slow into stride.
 
ARCHADE - Began awkwardly jumping in at the start bumping HELMET, raced wide throughout.
 
AMADEO - Began awkwardly, raced wide throughout and hung out in the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: MAXXIS@PRO TYRES OPEN Handicap (1400 METRES)
 
 
LIVE AND FREE - Began awkwardly as a result was very slow into stride and raced wide from the 700 metres.
 
JARHEAD - Tightened on the rail and lost ground near the 800 metres when another runner shifted in.
 
VAN WINKEL - Steady off heels approaching the 800 metres and raced wide for the remainder.
 
BURDEN - Bumped the gate at the start.
 
GYPSY BIKER - Began awkwardly, approaching the 800 metres despite the efforts of its rider shifted in and tightened JARHEAD.
 
I WANNA BE A JEEP - Stewards opened and adjourned an enquiry into rider Tim Brummell riding of I WANNA BE A JEEP over the concluding stages.
 
 
Race 3: BRIDGESTONE@PRO TYRES Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)
 
 
HIGHLAND EAGLE - Bumped with MATAGORDA at the start.
 
JUNGLELAND - Slow into stride. Jockey Cheryl Rogers was charged under the terms of AR132(7)(a)(ii) using whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100 metres. Jockey Rogers was issued with a reprimand.
 
MATAGORDA - Bumped with HIGHLAND EAGLE at the start.
 
ALL SORTED - Inclined to hang out throughout.
 
UZERLI - Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
HYPE WIRE - Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.
 
 
Race 4: VALE RANDALL ‘REXY’ MORRISON Class 3 Plate (1200 METRES)
 
AVISION – Shifted in under pressure approaching the 200 metres tightening another runner on the fence.
 
BOTTOM LINE - Extremely slow to begin and raced wide throughout.
 
MURGANELLA - Began awkwardly as a result was slow into stride and raced wide throughout.
 
ANOTHER TOSSER - Fractious prior to the start.
 
MANDEVILLE ROCKER - Rider reported MANDEVILLE ROCKER resented the kick back throughout the race and put in awkward strides coming around the home turn.
 
NICKSY BOY - Over raced approaching the 900 metres and had to be steadied off heels, near the 200 metres was tightened on the fence when another runner ducked in.
 
THERAPY - Fractious prior to the start, approaching the finish line run up onto heels.
 
BITTERSWEET PLUCK - Slow into stride and raced wide for the majority.
 
 
Race 5: PRO TYRES OPEN Handicap (1100 METRES)
 
CHAPELCO - Approaching the 900 metres when being restrained by the rider commenced to over race fiercely for some distance.
 
DOOM - Entering the home straight was forced out by NO REFUND and lay in down the home straight.
 
HALCYON HOUSE - Raced three wide throughout without cover.
 
NO REFUND - Entering the home straight forced DOOM out wide.Jockey David Rewald was suspended under the terms of AR132(5) for excessive use of the whip on 18 occasions (3 more than permissible). His license to ride in races was suspended for 7 days to commence on Midnight 13th August up to Midnight 20th August. 
 
 
Race 6: CONRAD BARBELER MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 50 Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
TREBLA - Began awkwardly and raced wide for the majority.
 
OSAKA SUNSET - Slow to begin.
 
OLIFANTS - Raced wide throughout.
 
ROOTS’N’ROCKS - Began awkwardly.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE - Very slow to begin and lay in over the concluding stages.
 
 
Race 7: Barkers News Central West Jockey Premiership Benchmark 50 Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
PRIZED ARTIST - Raced wide throughout.
 
HARD ENOUGH - Slow to begin.
 
STAR TWINKLE - Jockey Brooke Richardson replaced jockey Ric McMahon who was overweight. Jockey Ric McMahon, was fined $300 under the terms of AR 190(2). Slow into stride.Replacement rider Brooke Richardson was charged under the terms of AR132(7)(a)(ii) using whip on 8 occasions prior to the 100 metres (3 more than permissible), third offence. Jockey Richardson was fined $300,00.

Race 8: ERNIE WOODFIELD MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 (1000 METRES)
 
 
LONDON RULER - Raced three wide without cover.
 
THE SNOOPERSTAR - Bumped with FLASH FIBIAN shortly after the start.Jockey Ric McMahon was charged under the terms of AR132(7)(a)(ii) using whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100 metres (1 more than permissible), fourth offence. Jockey McMahon was issued with a reprimand.
 
KALMAR - Jumped in the air at the start beginning awkwardly and raced wide for the majority.
 
MUSIC AWARD - Bumped with FLASH FIBIAN at the start.
 
FLASH FIBIAN - Bumped with MUSIC AWARD at the start and bumped with THE SNOOPERSTAR shortly after the start.
