Race 1: Adept Contractors Benchmark 55 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – MAN OF DESTINY 2nd – MISHANI SPERANZA 3rd – MISS HOFFA 4th – MRS ASIA
MISHANI SPERANZA – Was caught wide without cover in the early and middle stages.
Race 2: Flexihire Maiden Plate 1170 metres:
1st – SIR CLISBY 2nd – ZATOCHIO 3rd – GREEN BANANAS 4th – LETTER BOX
CAUSING MAYHEM – Was reluctant to load.
HAYYLER’S MOUNTAIN – Shifted out abruptly soon after jumping and bumped heavily with another runner.
ZATOCHIO – Was bumped by another runner which shifted out abruptly soon after jumping.
PALE FACE ROCKET – Was bumped soon after jumping. Was caught without cover for the majority of the event. App. M Haley reported that the gelding, which was having its 2nd race start had been inclined to race greenly throughout.
Race 3: Dyno Nobel Open Handicap 1170 metres:
1st – MONTANUS 2nd – SAGACIOUS FLAME 3rd – GET THAT INDYA 4th – CLANDISE
MONTANUS – Was caught wide without cover in the early stages.
GET THAT INDYA – Was caught wide without cover in the middle stages.
Race 4: Moranbah Community Workers Club QTIS Ratings Band 0-45 Handicap 1170 metres:
1st – SOTTERO 2nd – BACKTOSPEC 3rd – KING BING 4th – DANEBERRY ROAD
BACKTOSPEC – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Was inconvenienced by another runner which shifted out shortly after the start. Was hampered by another runner which shifted in when racing ungenerously near the 900 metres. Was caught wide without cover in the middle stages.
ROCKET LINER - Bumped with another runner on jumping. Near the 900 metres, when racing ungenerously, shifted in hampering another runner.
KING BING – Shifted out shortly after the start inconveniencing another runner.
DANEBERRY ROAD – On returning to the enclosure was found to have bled from both nostrils in running. Trainer Mr. T Cook was advised that, this being the 2nd time that the gelding has bled, it is now barred from racing under the provisions of AR53A(5).
Race 5: Isaac Regional Council Class 3 Pate 1400 metres:
1st – MEADOW DREAMER 2nd – ELEMENTAL BOY 3rd – SLIP RAIL 4th – PERFECT RAINBOW
ELEMENTAL BOY – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Shifted in hampering another runner soon after the start. Was caught wide without cover in the middle stages.
LITTLE BOMBER – Was hampered by another runner which shifted in soon after the start.
SLIP RAIL – Shifted in abruptly near the 1200 metres hampering another runner. Jockey S Sheargold was instructed to exercise more care.
PERFECT RAINBOW – Was hampered near the 1200 metres by another runner which shifted in abruptly.
