GENERAL
Prior to race 1 stewards were informed that there was a malfunction in the photo finish equipment and as such was not used throughout the meeting, as a result all times were hand held.
Race 1: REDLINE BRANGUAS COAST TO THE COUNTRY BM55 HCP 1400 metres
COACH: Began awkward and as a result was slow into stride
LUCKY MACHU: Began awkward and as a result was slow into stride
BLONDE’S DAY OUT: Began awkward and as a result was slow into stride
MODERN FAMILY: Began awkward and raced wide throughout.
CASH BUNDLE: Scratched by order of the stewards as there was no available rider
Race 2: PATRONS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000 metres
RUSSIAN MISSILE: Jumped awkwardly and as a result was slow away.
SUDDEN SUSPECT: Jumped awkwardly and as a result was slow away,
Then resented the dusty conditions and failed to stretch out in the early stages.
DUREADY: Jumped awkwardly and raced wide in early stages of the race
AYEPEETEE: Late scratching by order of the stewards at 12:25 after being injured enroute to the track.
Trainer G Richardson was advised that the filly would need a veterinary certificate prior to racing again.
Race 3: ARNIE & RENE RIDEOUT MEMORIAL BM 50 HCP 1000 metres
JAMAICIAN DREAM: Shifted in shortly after the start slightly inconveniencing Miss Literati.
KARTANUP: Over raced shortly after the start and had to be steadied off the heels of Tom’s Star
TEDDER EXPRESS: Raced wide throughout the vent.
INVESTIBLE: Was slow into stride.
TOM’S STAR: Was fractious in the barriers prior to the start
HAYLEE PRINCE: Slow away and was inclined to hang inwards in the straight.
MISS LITERATI: Jumped outward as the start was affected and came in contact with Tedder Express.
Shortly after the start had to be steadied off the heels of Jamaican Dream.
Race 4: GORDON & EVELYN HUTTON MEMORIAL CLASS B HCP 1200 metres
MAJIANG: Broke through the barriers prior to the start and underwent a veterinary inspection and was passed fit to start.
Shifted outwards as the start was affected and came in contact with Ourlastpenny.
TRUE TALLY: Raced wide throughout the event
RED HANA: Raced wide throughout the event
OURLASTPENNY: Camein contact with Majiang as the start was affected, then raced 3 wide no cover for the remainder of the event.
DUAN PHOENIX: Raced wide throughout the event
Race 5: KEN & GORDON RUSSELL MEMORIAL OPEN HCP 1200 metres
RATHER SALUBRIOUS: Raced wide throughout, was inclined to hang inwards over the concluding stages.
LAYLA’S LAD: At about the 700 meters shifted in slightly resulting in Malvagio having to steady off heels.
DREAMING OF BISCAY: Was fractious in the barriers prior to the start and as a result was slow to begin.
WRECKING BALL: Raced wide throughout the event
MALVAGIO: Shifted outwards when steadying off the heels of Layla’s Lad when momentarily tightened for room at approximately the 700 meters.
Raced wide from that point on.
