Race 1: Anzac Centenary Maiden Plate 1200 metres:
1st – ILES OF TEO 2nd – OLLIE OOBA 3rd – RED ‘N’ YARRA 4th – PUMPED UP KICKS

SAINT MARY MAC – When Jockey M Hart was unable to make the weight stewards permitted him to ride the mare 2kg over its declared weight. M Hart was reprimanded under AR120(b). Was slow to begin then raced greenly in the early and middle stages.

RED ‘N’ YARRA – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.

Race 2: Timo Pesonen Class 6 Plate 1200 metres:
1st – CHEERS BROWE 2nd – BRUNNER 3rd – MIMI’S ROCKET 4th – TOO MANY LIES

TOO MANY LIES – Jockey T Hill was a late riding engagement.

MIMI’S ROCKET – Was slow to begin and raced wide rounding the home turn.

SHOW US A SMILE – Jockey S Galvin was a late riding engagement. When questioned Jockey S Galvin explained that the gelding failed to stretch out despite his vigorous urgings and was disappointing. Trainer Mr G Tipping said that in his opinion the gelding is suited over further distances. A post race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

Race 3: Kokoda Trail Class 2 Handicap 1450 metres:
1st – RAPID 2nd – SERENE ROCKET 3rd – MENELION 4th – HOTILLA

SERENE ROCKET – Jockey K Ballard was a late riding engagement.

PEEKING LUCK - When Jockey M Hart was unable to make the weight stewards permitted him to ride the mare 2kg over its declared weight. Began awkwardly and raced erratically in the early stages.

Race 4: Combined Services Open Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – OBSERVER 2nd – FORTZA 3rd – PISMO BEACH 4th – ROCKET ON BY

BUFFETT – Was a late withdrawal at 2pm when no suitable rider was available.

EASTLINE – When no other suitable rider was available stewards permitted Jockey D Ballard to ride the gelding 1kg over its declared weight. Jockey D Ballard reported that when racing back in the field the gelding failed to stretch out due to the kickback. A post race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

OBSERVER – When no other suitable rider was available stewards permitted Jockey A Spradau to ride the gelding 3kg over its declared weight. Raced wide most of the way.

COMMANDING SPUR – When no other suitable rider was available stewards permitted Jockey T Chambers to ride the gelding 2kg over its declared weight.

MORE THAN WILLING – Raced wide most of the way.

STEINBERG – Raced wide most of the way.

PISMO BEACH – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Following the running of this race Jockey A Spradau reported that he got hit in the mouth with a rock and sustained an injury to his teeth.

Race 5: Lest We Forget QTIS Class 1 Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – I’M DESPERATE TOO 2nd – CHATEAU D’OR 3rd – FIRSTINBESTDRESSED 4th – LE LIDO

ARTIE’S SON – Jockey J Kropp was a late riding engagement.

STARLET – When no other suitable rider was available stewards permitted Jockey D Ballard to ride the gelding 4.5kg over its declared weight. Began awkwardly and made contact with another runner.

CHATEAU D’OR – Was inconvenienced at the start.

LITTLE VICTORIES – Was slow to begin.

MR SAUVAGE – Was slow to begin.

FIRSTINBESTDRESSED – Raced wide throughout.

JETEYE WARRIOR – Raced wide throughout.

I’M DESPERATE TOO – Raced wide throughout.

LE LIDO – A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from one nostril. Trainer Mr P Inwood was advised that prior to racing again the gelding would have to gallop 1000m in the presence of a steward.
