Race 1: Topfire Poly Pipeline Specialists Class 1 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – SETH 2nd – MAHONGA 3rd – GOOD MOOD 4th – GIRLSGOGIDDYUP
ELKALATO - Was a late scratching at 2pm as no rider was available.
ENCORONADA - Was a late scratching at 2pm as no rider was available.
SETH – Jockey J Kropp was a late riding engagement and as no other rider was available Stewards permitted him to ride the gelding 1kg over its declared weight.
DOLLARISE – Stewards permitted Jockey A. Spradau to ride the gelding 1kg over its declared weight as no other rider was available. Jockey A Spradau was reprimanded under AR 120(b) for accepting the ride when overweight.
RETURN TICKET - Jumped awkwardly and made heavy contact with another runner. Raced wide throughout.
HOTILLA - On jumping away was contacted by another runner and raced wide all the way.
GEARSTICK – Immediately after the start was tightened for room. Raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.
GIRLSGOGIDDYUP - Raced wide rounding the home turn.
Race 2: Topfire Concreting & Earthworks QTIS Maiden Plate 1100 metres:
1st – MURRUMBIDGEE 2nd – AMP IT UP AUSSIE 3rd – RIALTO GUY 4th – JUST POLITIC
AMP IT UP AUSSIE – Jockey T Chambers was a late riding engagement and as no other rider was available Stewards permitted her to ride the mare 2kg over its declared weight. Bumped by another runner on jumping.
ROCKET ELEMENT – Jockey J Kropp was a late riding engagement and as no other rider was available Stewards permitted him to ride the filly 1kg over its declared weight. Raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.
MURRUMBIDGEE – Blundered as the start was effected.
MAGNICUS – Jumped very awkwardly losing ground.
RIVER RISING – Slow into stride.
CRAIGLEA SACHA – Jumped outwards and bumped another runner. Raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.
RIALTO GUY – Raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.
Race 3: Les Huddy Memorial Bracelet Open Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – SURPASSER 2nd – COURT ACTION 3rd – DARCEY 4th – WHISPERING DEATH
TABASCO FORCE – Jockey J Esser was a late riding engagement and as no other rider was available Stewards permitted him to ride the gelding 2kg over its declared weight.
GENERAL WEB – Jockey T Chambers was a late riding engagement and as no other rider was available Stewards permitted her to ride the gelding 2.5kg over its declared weight.
DARCEY – Proved very difficult to load into the barriers. Began awkwardly resulting in the Jockey losing the use of his iron for a short distance. Trainer Mr G.Wiles was advised that the mare must successfully complete a barrier jump out before again starting in a race.
SIMON BON ROCKET – Reared as the gates opened dislodging its rider.
ALBERTIQUE – Was disadvantaged and lost ground when a horse in an adjoining barrier dislodged its rider on jumping away.
Race 4: Topfire Construction Spring Cup Open Handicap 1450 metres:
1st – REVEL IN THE CHAOS 2nd – CARRY ME 3rd – ROMANTICIZE 4th – THE GALLOWS
ALL FIVES - Was a late scratching at 2.30pm by order of Stewards acting on veterinary advice.
GUN AND POWER - Slow into stride. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
REVEL IN THE CHAOS - Raced wide rounding the 1200 metre turn.
ISLE BE READY (NZ) – On return to scale Jockey K Ballard reported that his mount resented the considerable kickback and lost ground near the 700 metres.
MINTARO (NZ) - Raced wide rounding the 600 metre turn.
THE GALLOWS – Jockey A Spradau attributed the poor performance to the fact that his mount was obliged to race wide throughout and was disadvantaged by the heavy impost of 64kg.
Race 5: Topfire Transport Lord Derby Stakes Benchmark 65 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – KAYAN 2nd – TRAVEL IN STYLE 3rd – EXCEEDED 4th – FOUAREE
SNAZZY SOX - Was a late scratching at 3.10pm as no rider was available.
MOSSALE – Jockey A. Spradau was a late riding engagement and as no other rider was available Stewards permitted him to ride the gelding 2kg over its declared weight.
