Race 1: Benchmark 70 Handicap 1450 metres
1st – MANDALONG PASS 2nd – REVEL IN THE CHAOS 3rd – REQUIREMENT 4th – DARCEY

REQUIREMENT – When no other suitable rider was available stewards permitted jockey J Esser to ride the gelding 1kg over its declared weight.

MOSSALE – Crowded at the start.

DARCEY – Slow to begin.

KAYAN – When questioned regarding the poor performance jockey T Hill explained that his mount travelled comfortably throughout the early and middle stages however when placed under pressure prior to straightening the mare failed to respond and was disappointing.

Race 2: Benchmark 60 Handicap 900 metres
1st – LET IT SNOW 2nd – SETH 3rd – EXCEEDED 4th – BROTHER BOB

BROTHER BOB – Incurred a 1kg penalty following its win at Cloncurry on Saturday 31st October and as such public announcements were made to this effect. Was slow to begin. Rounding the turn near the 600m improved onto heels and had to be steadied.

TUNING – Knuckled badly on jumping then was reluctant to stretch out due to the kickback.

Race 3: Maiden Plate 1000 metres
1st – JUST POLITIC 2nd – RIALTO GUY 3rd – OUR REET PETITE 4th – RIVER RISING

HERE HE IS – Slow to begin. Approaching the first turn near the 800m had to be steadied when racing in restricted room.

Race 4: Open Handicap 1100 metres
1st – CARRY ME 2nd – COOL AS HEL 3rd – COURT ACTION 4th – FORTZA

FORTZA – When jockey A Spradau failed to arrive on course by the prescribed time stewards permitted S Galvin to replace him on the gelding. Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by jockey A Spradau. Was bumped at the start.

SMOOTH GENERAL – Was slow to begin.

COOL AS HEL – Was bumped at the start. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

Race 5: QTIS Benchmark 55 Handicap 1200 metres
1st – REGAL CONSERVE 2nd – FOUAREE 3rd – TOUGH COMPANY 4th – GRISWALD

CHATEAU D’OR – Was a late withdrawal at 9.05am when no rider was available.

COOPERSTOWN – Was a late withdrawal at 11.20am after it shifted its off hind plate and part of its hoof in the float en route to the course.

JETEYE WARRIOR - – When no other rider was available stewards permitted jockey J Esser to ride the gelding 2kg over its declared weight. Was crowded at the start.

FAVOURED ONE – Was crowded at the start.

REGAL CONSERVE – Began very awkwardly and shifted out abruptly.

Race 6: QTIS Benchmark 55 Handicap 1200 metres
1st – BUENA VIDA 2nd – SHIMAZU 3rd – SNAZZY SOX 4th – BORN TO FIRE

ELKALATO – Was a late withdrawal at 9.05am when no rider was available.

WULFWIN - When no other rider was available stewards permitted jockey D Ballard to ride the gelding 1/2kg over its declared weight. Approaching the first turn near the 800m commenced to race ungenerously and lost ground due to the kickback.

SHIMAZU - When no other rider was available stewards permitted jockey A Spradau to ride the gelding 4kg over its declared weight.

SNAZZY SOX – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Passing the 100m was bumped by another runner.

BUENA VIDA – Was inclined to lay in under pressure in the straight and made contact with another runner.

CRAIGLEA SACHA – On return to scale jockey T Hill reported that his mount never travelled comfortably throughout due to the kickback.
