Race 1: Elrose Plant Hire Patrons Open Plate 900 metres:
1st – LE CAP     2nd – FIVE O’CLOCK     3rd – CRAIGLEA CRUZ 4th – BOOT SHAKER
 
SHANTUNG BOXER – Fractious in the barriers. Rider reported at the 600 metres the gelding shifted out abruptly, took a number of awkward strides and lost ground when faced with the kickback of the riders in front.
 
AUGUSTE – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 2: Len Dowd & Co. Electrical QTIS Benchmark 50 Handicap 900 metres:
1st – GOOD MOOD        2nd – CRAIGLEA SWIFT           3rd – ONE TUFF CUPCAKE       4th – TRESSLES
 
BORN TO FIRE – Very fractious in the barriers. Reared as the start was effected and lost ground. Trainer Ms S Gabriel-Royes was advised that a warning would be put on the gelding’s barrier manners.
 
WHISPER WILLOW – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
ONE TUFF CUPCAKE – Began awkwardly.
 
MARINE ON PARADE – Raced wide throughout. Rider reported the gelding raced green and resented the kickback.

DIAMOND KAZ – After being loaded became fractious delaying the start. Slow to begin thereafter. Trainer Mrs D Ballard was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s barrier manners.
