CAPTAIN’S PICK – Began awkwardly. Wide home turn.
ECHELON ROSE - Slow to begin. Wide home turn.
Race 2: OPEN PLATE (1450 Metres)
MOORE ALPHA - Wide early.
SPANISH HURRICANE - Began awkwardly. Slow into stride. When questioned rider D. Ballard reported the gelding failed to respond to his riding from the 600m. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
KAPSET - Raced wide home turn.
Race 3: OPEN HANDICAP (1000 Metres)
READY ZAIM FIRE - Began awkwardly. Raced wide majority.
TANGO RAIN - Raced wide majority.
TEMPESTA ROSSA - Raced wide majority.
WORLD OF PAIN - Raced wide majority.
Race 4: QTIS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP (1000 Metres)
WALLACH - Began awkwardly. Slow into stride. Wide early. Raced ungenerously throughout due to resenting kickback in running.
DAN - Raced wide majority.
CAPT’N THUNDERBIRD - Raced wide majority.
NO CYRSTAL BALL - Wide home turn.

ALOTAFOX- Rider J.Felix reported the mare resented the kickback in running.

DIXIE ROUGE - Raced wide majority.

GOT THE TICKETS - Raced wide majority.
PARTY GLOW - Rider J.Felix reported the mare resented the kickback in running.
RACE 6: MAIDEN PLATE (1100 Metres)
SHOW SOME HEART - Slow into stride.
REASON FOR TREASON - Wide home turn.
RACE 7: BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP (1200 Metres)
CHARLIE CAT – Was inclined to lay out early stages.
MANDALONG PASS - Hampered by another runner which shifted in near 200m.
RAPTOR - Had to be checked near the100m due to another runner shifting in when insufficiently clear to do so.
IN TWO MINDS - Jockey D .Ballard was reprimanded for careless ridng under AR131(a) for permitting his mount to shift in under riding near the 200m hampering another runner. Jockey D. Ballard pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of AR131(a)in that near the 100m he permitted his mount to shift in under riding when insufficiently clear of RAPTOR ( R Hancock) which had to be checked and lost its rightful running. Jockey Ballard’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days to commence on Sunday June 20th, 2020 and up to and including Saturday June 27th, 2020. In considering penalty Stewards took into consideration the degree of interference, which was deemed to be in the low range, as well as jockey Ballard’s good record in relation to the rule.
