The Marshall – Hung out rounding the 1st turn.
 
Hickson – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
Mackellar’s Voice – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 2: CAVA CONTRACTING OPEN HANDICAP 1450m
 
LOUD ENOUGH – Began awkwardly.
 
KAPSET – Raced wide for the majority.
 
SPANISH HURRICANE - Raced wide for the majority.
 
MANDALONG PASS - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 3: TREVOR MORRIS BUILDERS QTIS CLASS 4 PLATE 1200m
 
Bold Sam – Began awkwardly shifting out and inconveniencing a runner to its outside. Shifted out again near the 1000m forcing another runner wider. Jockey J Babarovich reported the gelding had hung out for the majority. Stewards advised Jockey Babarovich who also trains Bold Sam that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing manners.
 
Magic Town – Was inconvenienced by another runner on jumping. A post-race Veterinary examination of the gelding which raced below expectations revealed a poor recovery rate. Trainer D Ballard was of the opinion the gelding may have choked down in running and advised she will consider implementing a gear change prior to next race start.
 
Rising Boom – Slowly into stride.
 
Fire Ranger - Slowly into stride.
 
Crystal Helmet – Was forced wider by another runner near the 1000m. Raced wide for the majority.
 
Captain’s Pick - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Grand Symphony - Raced wide without cover for the majority.
 
Brave Jewel - Raced wide without cover for the majority.
 
Race 4: CAVA HYDRAULICS OPEN HANDICAP 1000m
 
Bel Burgess – Slowly away. Shifted wider near the 900m to avoid the kickback in running, racing wide from that point.
 
Snippy Strategic – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
Zukaz - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Missed Out - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 5: LEONIE WINKS PHOTOGRAPHY MAIDEN PLATE 1000m
 
Wanchai – The mare which was resuming following a lengthy absence from racing underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Slowly into stride. Unable to muster pace in the early and middle stages. Finished tailed off. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a minor abrasion to the off hind leg.
 
Cate Rules – Began awkwardly.
 
Show Some Heart - Shifted wider near the 600m to avoid the kickback in running, racing wide from that point.
 
Matchfox – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Lingy – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Good To Dream - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 6: APG GLASS & ALUMINIUM BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (1) 900m
 
Party Glow – Shifted in marginally near the 600m, placing runners to its inside in restricted room for a short distance, before being quickly straightened by Jockey R Hancock. Jockey Hancock was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out to the finish of the race.
 
Hunting – Raced in restricted room between runners for a short distance passing the 600m.
 
World Of Pain - Raced in restricted room between runners for a short distance passing the 600m. Raced wide for the majority.
 
Born To Fire – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Believe It Or Not - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Lord Windermere - A post-race Veterinary examination of the gelding which raced below expectations revealed a no abnormalities.
 
Race 7: APG GLASS & ALUMINIUM BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (2) 900m
 
Hologram – Shifted out on jumping inconveniencing runners to its outside.
 
Tofu Mick – Inconvenienced on jumping.
 
Oakfield Costa - Inconvenienced on jumping.
 
Ima Pocket Rocket – Slowly away after beginning awkwardly.
 
Makatiti – Slowly away. Raced wide for the majority.
 
Our Hussler – Shifted out marginally near the 600m inconveniencing a runner to its outside. Jockey S Mossman was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
 
 
Framework – Steadied near the 600m when a runner to its inside shifted out marginally. Raced wide for the majority.
