GENERAL

Race 1. BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1450m
KING LANDON – Slowly away after hesitating as the start was effected. Unable to muster pace in the early and middle stages. Finished off fairly.
BOLD SAM – Raced ungenerously in the early stages.
MYOLA MILLY – Raced 3 wide for the majority.
MARVELOCITY – Made the home turn wide. Jockey D Smith reported the gelding had raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages, before shifting wider passing the 800m, to avoid the kickback in running.

Race 2. RATINGS BAND 0-60 HANDICAP 1000m
CADENCE – Trainer Ms S Royes was fined the sum of $100.00 under the provisions of AR206 for a late gear change. Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
SEVEN YEAR REWARD - Raced wide for the majority.
WICKED WILLY - Raced wide for the majority.
UNDERTHESPOTLIGHT – Got out of its ground in the early and middle stages before finishing off fairly.

Race 3. QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
TOKYO FRIENDS – Reluctant to load. Made the home wide. Trainer Mr K Krogh was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
THAT’S A DREAM - Reluctant to load. Trainer Ms T Parry was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.

Race 4. BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1200m
LIZ’ DELIGHT – Shifted in on jumping inconveniencing a runner to its inside.
MISS FLAWLESS – Inconvenienced on jumping.
ROCKETHEAD – Shifted out on jumping inconveniencing a runner to its outside. Shifted out rounding the home turn carrying a runner to its outside wider.
NITRO CITY - Inconvenienced on jumping. Carried wider by another runner which shifted out rounding the home turn.
BLAX – Raced wide for the majority. Tired over the concluding stages.
RUN RAMPANT – Jockey T Hill reported the gelding had never been comfortable on the sand surface. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
THE BROTHERHOOD – Jockey D Smith was reprimanded under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m. 1st offence.

Race 5. BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP 1200m
FULL OF FIRE – Slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority.
LEVEL EIGHT – Stood flat-footed as the start was effected losing ground. Raced wide for the majority. Trainer Mr S Royes was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners.
SHIVKHANI – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
LORD GREYSTOKE – Raced wide for the majority.
