GENERAL: This meeting was conducted under the conditions of the Queensland Community Racing Scheme (QCRS).  No Photo Finish or Bookmakers  operated at this meeting. All starts were by means of a flag fall.   All nine riders who rode were Licensed Approved Riders.  All prizes were in the form of trophies only.
 
Race 1: COLEMAN STOCK FEEDS MAIDEN PLATE.  (Set Weights).  800 Metres).
 
DIXIE ROCK – Slow to begin losing considerable ground.  Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
OUTBACK ROYAL – Raced wide rounding the home turn.  
 
 
Race 2:  HALLS FIREARMS RESTRICTED TROPHY 2. (FIRST DIVISION )  (Set Weights).  .  800 Metres.).
 
BLUMAC   - Veterinary Certificate of fitness to race provided prior to starting.   – Slow into stride at start. 
 
TUNE UP WARRIOR - Slow into stride at start. 
 
DIAMOND WAY - Lost considerable ground when slowly away.

Race 3:  RINGROSE & BUTTON CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS RESTRICTED TROPHY 3.   (Set Weights).  1000 Metres.
 
HAYYLER’S HOPE.  – Late scratching at 11.15am by order of Stewards acting on Veterinary advice after the gelding was found to be unwell and was treated by the Veterinary surgeon.   Horse Incident Report No. H 02115 refers.  No further action required.  No effect on betting.   
 
HICKOCK HAND - Lost considerable ground when slowly away.
 
PERFECT HOLIDAY - Veterinary Certificate of fitness to race provided prior to starting.Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
AUTUMN BEATS – Veterinary Certificate fitness to race under provisions of AR 45B provided prior to starting.  Raced wide rounding the home turn.. 
 

Race 4:  MRS PAT MURRAY MEMORIAL OAKLEY AMATEUR PICNIC RACE CLUB LADIES BANGLE OPEN TROPHY. (Set Weights).  800 Metres. 
 
ZATHURA – Performed poorly.  Veterinary examination revealed a muscle tear to the left hind leg..  Horse Incident Report No. H 02116 refers. Trainer J. Delahunty advised a Veterinary Certificate is required before the mare can again start in a race.
 
NAVILLUS PICALL  - On returning to scale a small amount of blood was present in the mouth.  Veterinary examination revealed a small laceration on the tongue.  Horse Incident Report No. H 02117 refers.  No further action required. 
 

Race 5:  BETTY RICE MEMORIAL OAKLEY AMATEUR PICNIC RACE CLUB LADIES  BRACELET  OPEN TROPHY (Set Weights).  1400 Metres.).
 
BALLARD BOY - Veterinary Certificate of fitness to race provided prior to starting.
 
CHARFUELED – Slow to begin losing considerable ground.  Raced wide rounding the home turn.  Rider lost whip in home straight. 
 
KOMODO – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

FRAARDALA - Veterinary Certificate fitness to race under provisions of AR 45B provided prior to starting.  Very slow into stride.

Near the 400 metres COWBOY’S GIRT which was over racing got onto the heels of  ELLE STYLE and commenced racing ungenerously,  had to be checked and was then taken to the outside to obtain clear running.  Raced wide rounding the home turn.
