Race 2: GREAT NORTHERN QTIS Three-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1200 metres
 
BOLD HALO – Began awkwardly.
 
AS GOOD AS READY – Slow to begin.
 
SUPER ROOSTER – Began awkwardly.
 
TOY BLAZE – Raced keen during the early and middle stages.
 
BAY'S SPIRIT – Began awkwardly. Raced keen during the middle stages.
 
I’M STROLLING – Declared a late scratching at 9:48am by order of stewards acting on veterinary advice. Trainer R. Vale was advised the filly would require a veterinary clearance prior to returning to racing.
 
 
Race 3: BECOME A CLUB 150 MEMBER 2022 Class 6 Handicap 1200 metres
 
Following this event, the track surface was upgraded to a Soft (5) retrospective to include race three.
 
SVINDAL – Bumped by KINGS COUNTY near the 350m.
 
KINGS COUNTY – Shifted in near the 350m making contact with SVINDAL.
 
NAILED IT NAN – Raced keen from the 900m until the 600m. Inclined to hang out throughout the early and middle stages.
 
VAST KAMA – Held up for clear running rounding the home turn.
 
Race 4: ST PATRICK'S RACEDAY - SATURDAY MARCH OPEN Handicap 1050 metres
 
MASTER JAMIE – Fractious in barrier. Began awkwardly. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
WANDER – Raced wide without cover throughout. Inclined to lay in when paced under pressure in the home straight.
 
YU LONG SHENG HUI – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Race 5: ROCKY AMATEURS RACEDAY - SATURDAY 7 MAY Maiden Handicap 1400 metres
 
EASY JOY – Began awkwardly. Raced wide without cover throughout the early and middle stages. Tailed off from the 400m taking no further competitive part in the event. Upon returning to scale Jockey L. Tilley advised that his mount lost its tongue tie in running and in his opinion has difficulty breathing over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

MY MATE VINNY – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Upon returning to scale Jockey J. Stanley advised that in his opinion his mount failed to handle the conditions of todays event and proved disappointing over the final 200m. A post- race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.
 
INFORMER – Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
MISS BEAT – Began awkwardly. Trainer M. Kropp could offer no explanation for the seemingly improved performance.
 
PEERLESS CRUISE – Began awkwardly.
 
REFUTATION – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 6: 2022 CYS CARNIVAL FRIDAY 8-SUNDAY APRIL BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1600 metres
 
TONTEIN – Raced three wide without cover for the majority.
 
RUFFIN' IT (NZ) – Began awkwardly tightening FLEETINGLY. Shifted in marginally tightening MOTHERLODE near the 550m. Shifted in leaving the 400m placing MOTHERLODE in restricted room.
 
COMMANDER'S WATCH – Re-handicapped to 57kg after winning at Mackay on the 7th January 2022. Began awkwardly.
 
FLEETINGLY – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
MOTHERLODE – Held up from the 800m until the early part of the home straight. Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 550m. Tightened for room, checked and lost considerable ground leaving the 400m when RUFFIN’ IT shifted in. Jockey S. Fawke (the rider of RUFFIN’ IT (NZ)) was found guilty of a charge of riding under AR131(a) in that at a point leaving the 400m, he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of MOTHERLODE, resulting in that runner being tightened for room, checked and losing its rightful running. Jockey Fawke’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 9 days to commence midnight 20th January 2022 and to conclude midnight 29th January 2022. Jockey Fawke was advised of his right to an internal review.
 
Race 7: 2022 CAPRICORNIA YEARLING SALE - SUNDAY APRIL BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1200 metres
 
STAR OF LEON – Jumped in the air at the start and lost ground.
 
FACTOR THAT IN – Raced in restricted room for a short distance leaving the 1100m and was forced to eased.
 
MY ZEBRINKA – Began awkwardly.
 
 
Race 8: FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK Class 1 Handicap 1100 metres
 
BACK WHEN – Began awkwardly. Laid in over the concluding stages.
 
AMOROSITY – At a point near the 1100m, was tightened for room, checked and lost ground when DEEP BREATH was taken in by MODESTO. Jockey C. Jokic (the rider of MODESTO) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that at a point nearing the 1100m she permitted her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of DEEP BREATH and AMOROSITY, resulting in DEEP BREATH being tightened for room and AMOROSITY being tightened for room, checked and lost ground. Jockey Jokic’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days to commence midnight January 14th 2022 and to conclude midnight January 22nd 2022. Jockey Jokic was advised of her right to an internal review. Raced wide with cover from the 1000m.
 
CINDERELLA MAN – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
ALEYSA'S QUEEN – Improved into heels and was forced to shift out shortly prior to the winning post.
 
LEGAL CHANCE – Tightened for room on jumping.
 
ROSAIRE – Began awkwardly tightening runners to the inside.
