RACE 1: BARRY RICHARDSON QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000M-
 
Trainer S Rodgers was fined $100 for the late notification of the gear change for WE’RE BLESSED.
 
WILD JUSTICE- Hung out rounding the turn near the 600m.
 
JABBS- Raced very wide throughout the event.
 
PART THE SEA- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 2: BIG MAC BLT RATINGS BAND 0-60 H’CAP 1000M-
No racing incidents.
 
RACE 3: CHICKEN CAESAR MCWRAP CLASS B HCAP 1200 M
 
AGUERO- Shifted out abruptly shortly after the start.
 
DENMAN DUDE- Tightened for room shortly after the start.
 
DIVA MISS- Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
ZOOMESDAY- Rider reported the horse hung throughout the event.
 
RACE 4: MOCHA FRAPPE OPEN HCAP 1200M
 
ISSY COMMAND- Knuckled badly shortly after the start dislodging App. N Morton. Apprentice Morton was transported to hospital for precautionary x-rays in relation to an apparent rib injury.
 
WHISPERING DEATH- Slow to begin.
 
MAN OF DESTINY- Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
RACE 5: XMAS COMES EARLY IN ROMA CLASS 4 HCAP 1200M
 
App. N Fazackerley replaced App. N Morton as the rider of CUBAN FURY.
 
THIN DISGUISE- Knuckled on jumping away.
 
CUBAN FURY- Raced wide throughout.
 
STILL THE SAME- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 6: HOMESTYLE ANGUS BURGER BENCHMARK 65 HCAP 1640M
 
No racing incidents.
 
RACE 7: SANTA’S FAVOURITE MILE CLASS 3 PLATE 1640M
 
App. M Wishart replaced N Morton as the rider of BOJOURA.
 
BOLD TEMPTATION- Trainer R Hay was questioned in relation to the disappointing performance. Mr Hay advised that last start the gelding stepped up sharply in distance to 1850m, which was to its advantage as the horse is very one paced. He added that whilst this race was over 1640m, the gelding was unable to sprint with the other runners from the 500m and was left flat-footed. Mr Hay went onto say that he will endeavour to place the gelding in a race over approximately 2000m, race programming permitting, at its next start where he expects a more forward showing.
 
I AM BACCHUS- Lost both fore plates in running.
 
BOJOURA- Raced wide from the 800m.
