After taking evidence from the parties concerned and viewing the stewards patrol video, stewards were satisfied that whilst STEAL A DIAMOND did lay in under pressure, VENECIA also laid in under pressure in the home straight, and whilst there was very minor crowding in the final 2 strides of the event, they were not satisfied,, given the margin and the finishing efforts of both horses, that the placings should be altered and therefore dismissed the objection and correct weight semaphored on the Judgees placings.

McGillivray, rider of SNOW FIELDS, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding, in that after being held up at the heels of I CANNT SEE YOU, he directed his mount to the inside of that runner where there was insufficient room, resulting in a tightening to SHEZA HOTTI, being forced in on to the hind quarters of BALABINA, turning that horse out, further tightening the runningg of SHEZA HOTTI, resulting inn J.
