GENERAL
 
 
Race 1: COASTLINE BMW 2 SERIES GRAN COUPÉ BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1000 metres
 
ICED – Raced three wide with cover. G Cartwright was reprimanded for excessive whip use in that she the whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100m.
 
LYRICAL GIRL – Hung in badly from the 450m and was unable to be fully tested. Post race vet examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
SYD'S FOOTPRINTS – Tightened for room on jumping away. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
MORT DOYLE – Bumped heavily on jumping away.
 
KAORU KING – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
MODELKA – Tightened for room on jumping and had to be checked. Held up rounding the home turn.
 
AIR SPIRIT – Over-raced during the early stages. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight. Laid in under pressure.
 
 
Race 2: COASTLINE BMW 4 SERIES COUPÉ QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1000 metres
 
SIMPLY FLY – Had difficulty securing clear running for a short distance approaching the 200m.
 
ZINGALONG – Began awkwardly.
 
SNITZARI – Wide no cover.
 
LITTLE RIVER – Blundered near the 800m.
 
WHO SHOT MAGGIE – Bumped on jumping. Over-raced during the early stages. Blundered near the 800m.
 
 
Race 3: COASTLINE BMW M3 SEDAN 2YO CLASSIC PLATE 1200 metres
 
The start of this race was delayed due to a patron requiring medical attention.

MISHANI BANDIT – Began awkwardly and bumped. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
GENERAL WOLFFE – Laid in under pressure.
 
HATS – Tightened for room and had to be checked on jumping away.
 
SACCA – Slow to begin. Over-raced early and blundered near the 950m.
 
MISHANI TULIP – Over-raced during the early stages and checked near the 950m.
 
ROSE OF DUPORTH – Began awkwardly and bumped.
 
 
Race 4: COASTLINE BMW 5 SERIES SEDAN No Metro Wins Handicap 1200 metres
 
RAMTASTIC – Checked near the 900m when tightened for room to the inside of ESKDALE GIRL, B El-Issa the rider of ESKDALE GIRL was reprimanded for this incident. Trainer K Schweida advised that in light of todays performance the horse will now be sent for a spell.
 
JETSKI – Slow to begin.
 
BLUE COMET – Slow to begin. Laid in during the early part of the home straight.
 
 
Race 5: COASTLINE BMW 8 SERIES COUPÉ Class 6 Handicap 1600 metres
 
RAQEEQ – Slow to begin.
 
STAR OF MICHELIN – Laid in during the early stages of the home straight.
MOMENTUM TO WIN – Wide during the early stages before being ridden forward to a position outside the lead passing the 1100m.
 
ORCEIN – Laid in under pressure. Post race vet examination revealed the horse to have mild heat stress and a poor post race recovery.
 
Race 6: COASTLINE BMW X3 Class 3 Plate 1400 metres
 
KATERU – Wide without cover throughout.
 
SAMURAI – Slow to begin.
 
MINTED – Slow to begin.
 
DEE DAY DIVA – Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
SENTIMENTAL MISS – Over-raced during the early and middle stages.
 
MAESTOSO – Slow to begin.
 
Race 7: COASTLINE BMW X6 QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1600 metres
 
MAGIC CONQUEROR – Buffeted between runners on jumping away.
 
BANGERS AND MAYO – Began awkwardly and bumped.
 
ROKE – B El-Issa reported to stewards that his mount over-raced during the early and middle stages and in his opinion this had a detrimental effect on the overall performance.

COSMIC GOSSIP – Buffeted between runners on jumping away.
 
CRIMINAL DEFENCE – Slow to begin.
 
DIVULGE – Began awkwardly making heavy contact with the barrier partition. J Byrne reported that his mount travelled strongly throughout, despite settling further back in the field than he would have liked, however when asked to improve from the 500m the gelding failed to respond.  Post race vet examination found the horse to have a poor post race recovery and was found to be making an abnormal respiratory noise. Trainer T Gollan advised stewards that an endoscopic examination would be performed on the horse and he will report the findings to stewards.
 
HIGHLIGHTS – Tightened for room near the 1400m.
 
THE CULLINAN – Raced three wide without cover. Laid in during the early stages of the home straight.
 
ZOU ZOU KACANARKIS – Over-raced during the early and middle stages. Improved onto heels near the 600m and had to be steadied.
 
 
 
Race 8: COASTLINE BMW M4 COUPÉ SUNSHINE COAST CUP 1400 metres
 
 
SAMBRO – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
PROMETHEUS – Tightened for room at the start and checked.
 
TOKORIKI LAD – Raced three wide with cover.
 
RIVER RACER – Slow to begin.
 
BEAUFORT PARK – Laid in under pressure placing its rider at a disadvantage over the concluding stages.
 
SOFIE'S GOLD CLASS – Raced three wide with cover.
 
AKAGE – Tightened for room at the start and checked.
 
SPLENDORONTHEGRASS – Tightened for room at the start. Raced three wide without cover.
 
AWESOME PLUCK – Laid in during the early stages.
 
BOLD STYLE – Began awkwardly and bumped heavily. Over-raced during the early stages.
 
 
Race 9: COASTLINE BMW X7 OPEN Handicap 1000 metres
 
TAMBO'S MATE – Three wide with cover. Post Race vet examination revealed the horse to have lost a near hind plate and no further abnormalities.
 
SPURCRAFT – Slow to begin. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and had some difficulty securing clear running during the early stages of the home straight.
 
RIVER BIRD – Three wide with cover.
 
TULLIO – Slow to begin.
 
UNGUARDED – Slow to begin.
