Race 1: LANSDOWNE MAIDEN PLATE - 1100 metres

SHE’S IN TOP GEAR – Jockey C. Bryen was permitted by stewards to ride 1.5kg overweight but was fined the sum of $100 under AR120(b). The mare proved extremely difficult to load and bucked shortly after the start trying to avoid the dusty track conditions. Trainer T. Elmes was advised a barrier jump out would be required prior to the next start.

SILENT STORM – Was slow away and travelled wide for the majority of the race.

DARKNESS ABOVE – Hung in for the majority of the event.

PUBLIC FORTUNE – Travelled wide in the early stages.

Race 2: NATIONAL JOCKEY’S TRUST CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres

PINTERRA – Was a late scratching at 12:30pm as there was no rider available.

GOTTAGUN – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

DANE’S ROCKET – Travelled wide for the entire race.

KENTUCKY BOMBER – Approaching the 800m tightened a runner to the inside. Jockey J. King was reprimanded for careless riding.

RODEL – Was eased off heels approaching the 800m and lost ground.

NO INVOLVEMENT – Bounded out of the gates and was slow into stride.
Race 3: COOP’S GRADER HIRE QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE - 1200 metres


CONTRITE HEART and HUGHIE AND ME – Were both late scratchings as there were no riders available.

SCHWEIZ – Was slow away and then over raced in the early stages and had to be eased off heals.

BANNER – Travelled wide from the 600m.

ATEACES – Was slow away and travelled wide from the 1000m to avoid the dusty track conditions.

DASHINGLY – Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide for the majority of the event.

NOVARUPTA -- Jumped away awkwardly.

Race 4: MOODY RACING GREAT WESTERN SPRIINT OPEN HANDICAP - 1200 metres


A DEPENDANT – Was a late scratching at 7:58am as there was no rider available.

REGAL PRINCE -- Shifted out slightly over the concluding stages causing FRISKY CRUISER to be eased. Jockey N. Morton was reminded to keep her mount straight.

CRAWFISH – Travelled wide rounding the home turn.

CRYSTAL MATES – Travelled wide from the 600m.

Race 5: SOUTH WEST FORD NISSAN BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

TENMOREGRAND – Was slow into stride.

JIMNA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
