RACE 1: DAWSON RIVER PRODUCE/TOP X/LANDMARK-SAM BARLOW MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE - 1000m
 
RAPID LIAISON – Hung out badly throughout. Returned to the enclosure with its tongue over the bit. Trainer J. Curtain was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing manners.
 
REDREKA – Raced wide throughout.
 
CAUSING MAYHEM – Reluctant to proceed to the barriers. Stable representatives were advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s pre-race manners. Began awkwardly.
 
 
RACE 2: TAROOM PHARMACY - OWEN BRODIE MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000m
 
MONTE VICTORY – On returning to scale Apprentice B. Northdurft reported that his mount hung out during the event.
 
BURKETOWN LARRIKIN – Tightened for room at the start.
 
SIR BAM – Raced wide throughout.
 
WELCOME CHARLIE – On returning to scale Apprentice N. Keal reported that his mount hung out during the event. 
 
 
RACE 3: TAROOM WELDING WORX & PHIPPS FAMILY TRUST BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP  1000m
 
SCREAMING JET – Tightened for room and lost ground near the 800m, when runners on either side shifted ground.
 
 
RACE 4: UTOPIA STOCK TPT - BILL JOYNSON MEMORIAL QTIS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1000m
 
DR QUINCY – Knuckled on jumping. On returning to scale Apprentice H. English reported that her saddle slipped at the start, placing her at a disadvantage for the remainder of the event. Hung out throughout the event.
 
GULLY GOSH – Tightened for room upon jumping and lost ground. Apprentice N. Keal reported that after losing ground at the start the horse resented the kick back and did not travel comfortably at any stage of the event. A post- race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.  
 
 
RACE 5: COUTRYSIDE ELECTRICS/S&C ARYE LIVESTOCK TPT- DES JOHNSON MEM. BM 50 HCP 1400m
 
EMMAROSE – Steadied from heels near the 700m.
 
CHARZOOKA – Improved onto heels and had to be checked shortly after the winning post.
 
 
RACE 6: LEICHHARDT HOTEL TAROOM CUP-BOB SCOTT MEMORIAL OPEN HANDICAP – 1400m
 
CRAWFISH – Broke through the barriers prior to the start being effected and galloped for a significant distance. Examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Had to be steadied from heels near the 1100m.
