Race 1: Members BM 60 Handicap- 1600 metres
 
MURRAMARANG- Slow to begin.
 
TWO OF A KIND- Raced 3 wide without cover in the early stages.
 
BOLD TEMPTATION- Near the 1200 metres, eased from heels of another runner.
 
Race 2: Owners & Trainers Class B Handicap- 1400 metres
 
JACARANDA PRINCE- Began awkwardly. Taken wider on the track when another runner shifted ground near the 900 metres.
 
OUR CINDERELLA- Began awkwardly.
 
LITTLE HUNTER- Slow to begin. Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race. Shifted out near the 900m and took another runner wider on the track.
 
Race 3: Federal Member for Flynn Ken O’Dowd Maiden Plate- 1200 metres
 
In the enclosure, Jockey N Summers was kicked in the upper left leg by QUATRO AMIGOS. Medical assistance and treatment was required which resulted in a delay. Riding changes were made as per the summary. N. Summers would require a medical clearance prior to her next riding engagements.
 
This race was started at approximately 2.20pm
 
Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards viewed the photo finish print and were satisfied as to the placings.
 
QUATRO AMIGOS- N. Summers was replaced by Jockey J Stephens.
 
WEONA PRINCESS- Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
DOUBLEO CI- Raced wide with cover.
 
PISTOL AND BOO- Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 4: Member For Callide Colin Boyce QTIS BM 50 Handicap- 1200 metres
 
The following races were rescheduled to Race 4- 3.00pm Race 5- 3.40pm and Race 6- 4.20pm
 
CSARDAS- Dwelt at the start
 
ZOOMING- Jumped out and made minor contact with FIRESTAR PHOENIX.
 
METEOR’S MAN- From the 1000 metres, hung out in the middle stages.
 
DUAN PHOENIX- Late gear change of Tongue Tie on after acceptances. Permitted and a $100 fine was imposed for this offence.
 
COLLAR’S UP- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
DEVASTATING RHYTHM- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
DUDOOMP- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 5:  Battle of the Bush Qualifier- Open Handicap- 1200 metres
 
BETTER IDEA- Jockey G Steele was not riding at the meeting. Notification was made of App S Tomlinson to ride as scratching time, however J. Stephens was engaged to ride the horse.
 
FINAL HOPE- When no senior rider was available, App S Tomlinson was permitted to ride. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
MASON’S CHANCE and MOTORISED- Shortly after the start, made contact.
 
ZOOMING OVER YOU- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
GINGERSNAP- Attempted to get under the front of the barriers prior to the start. When the start was effected, was unbalanced, began very awkwardly and lost ground. A warning would be placed on the mare.
 
SHEER PERSISTENCE- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 6:  Cr Nev Ferrier Mayor Banana Shire Council BM 60 Handicap- 1200 metres
 
SUPERIOR DRAGON- Declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 4.24pm when the gelding broke through the barriers, was unable to be restrained and galloped strongly over the distance of the race. All bets on SUPERIOR DRAGON were to be refunded and the deductions of 5c Win and 7c Place to apply to all successful bets.
 
LUSHNESS- When no senior rider at or close to the allotted weight, App A Thompson was the replacement rider for the horse.
 
CONFIDENT STAR- As App J Brand was injured and unable to fulfil her ride, she was replaced by App S Tomlinson.
 
SCAPA COVE- Due to miscommunication, App T Doyle was dual engaged. App L Dillon was substituted. Slow into stride.
 
SOCIETY QUEEN and MIA HOST- brushed on jumping.
 
KWANZA- Slow into stride.
 
GUTZ CI- Jumped out and contact FRAHA which was taken outwards. Raced wide throughout.
 
Stewards inquired into the conduct of licensed persons, D & J Rideout and J & E Devine in the enclosure at the completion of this race. Whilst no direct action was taken, all were advised that their conduct was unprofessional in the circumstances and that all were to conduct themselves in a professional, appropriate manner at all times.
