Race 1 – Canadian Club – Maiden Plate – 1000m
BUOYANCY – Slow to begin. Tightened for room near the 900m, having to be steadied.
 
ARTE ET MARTE – Shifted in and away from another runner near the 900m, tightening a runner to its inside.  A short distance later was tightened for room by another runner, which shifted in.
 
DUKE OF CLEVELAND – Shifted in, crowding another runner near the 900m when being ridden along. Rider S. Pawsey was severely reprimanded and advised to show greater care in similar circumstances.
 
OURANYA – Shifted out on jumping, bumping with another runner.  Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race and finished tailed off.  A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised that the mare’s nomination would be refused at TAB meetings until such time as it established form by way of country meetings.
SCARAMOUCHE – Bumped by another runner on jumping and shifted out, bumping with anther runner. Laid in when being ridden along near the 400m, tightening a runner to its inside. Rider F. Edwards was severely reprimanded and advised to show greater care. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
EDGED IN LACE – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
FLASH FOX – Placed in restricted room near the 400m by another runner, which laid in, having to shift around the heels of that runner.  Raced wide.
 
MAXHENRY – Tightened for room near the 400m when racing to the inside of other runners. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 2 – Hygain – Benchmark 65 H’Cap – 1000m
 
PERFECT KNOWLEDGE – Slow to begin. Shifted out to obtain clear running leaving the 50m, crowding runners to its outside. Rider Q. Krogh was advised to show greater care in similar circumstances. When questioned, in particular after leaving the 300m, why he had not attempted a run to the inside of ANSINNA, rider Q. Krogh stated that he had committed himself to the outside of the heels of ANSINNA and had anticipated runners shifting wider at that time. He further added it would have been detrimental to the horse finishing off the race had he elected to restrain his mount and attempt a run to the inside of that runner.  Stewards noted his explanation.
 
ANNIE LAUGHALOT – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race and finished tailed off.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a slow recovery rate. Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised that the mare’s nomination would be refused at TAB meetings until such time as it established form by way of country meetings.
 
ALLEZ TROIENNE – Slow to begin. Shifted out near the 400m, bumping another runner.
 
DOUBLE DENMAN – Bumped by another runner near the 400m. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
LIEUTENANT DAN – Crowded for room approaching the winning post. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SHROUDED – Crowded for room approaching the winning post.
 
Race 3 – Christmas at Cluden – QTIS 3yo Maiden H’Cap – 1200m

CHLOE JADE – Slow to begin.
 
JUMPIN’JACKMAC – Jumped outwards at the start, bumping with another runner. Compounded leaving the 400m, inconveniencing other runners and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer A. Molino was advised that the gelding’s  nomination would be refused at TAB meetings until such time as it established form by way of country meetings.
 
GREYSERENE – Began awkwardly and was buffeted between runners for a short distance on jumping.
 
NOT A SINGLE DAY – Shifted in near the 1000m when racing greenly, tightening a runner to its inside. Raced ungenerously leaving the 500m and improved on to the heels of a tiring runner near the 400m and was checked.
 
DANCE AROUND – Tightened for room near the 1000m and was restrained and lost ground.
 
GOTTA BE BETTER – Bumped by another runner on jumping and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
NOBODY BETTER – Shifted 3 wide leaving the 800m and raced wide from that point onwards.
 
SOLDATI – After obtaining the lead leaving the 200m then raced greenly over the concluding stages.
 
Race 4 – Carlton and United Breweries – Ratings 0 – 60 H’Cap – 1200m
 
HARVEST PRIDE – Slow to begin.
 
ECHELON ROSE – Slow to begin and then shifted out, inconveniencing another runner. Raced wide for the majority of the race.  
 
ROSCOMMON – After being initially slow to begin was inconvenienced by another runner, which shifted out and as a result lost ground.
 
FLYING DUBAI – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
WRITTEN IMAGE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 5 – Catch You at Cluden – Magic Millions Country Cup Qualifier Open H’Cap – 1200m

DIVINE SERVICE – The barrier blanket failed to release from the gelding until 2 strides out of the barriers. Notwithstanding, after viewing the patrol footage of the start, Stewards were of the opinion that although the gelding had been slow to begin it had nonetheless exited the barrier cleanly.  Restrained from the heels of another runner, which was racing ungenerously near the 1000m and shifted out, forcing another runner wider, which became awkward on the heels of another runner. 
 
LADY SKILLS – Slow to begin.
 
GINGERSNAP – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
GREY MISSILE – Forced out by another runner, which shifted out when being restrained from heels near the 1000m, clipping the heels of another runner and blundered. As a result of this incident then raced in restricted room for a short distance and raced wide for the majority of the race. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality.
 
POLAR BLAST – Raced ungenerously near the 1000m. Hampered by another runner near the 350m, which shifted out.
 
SPACE TIME – Shifted out near the 350m, hampering another runner.

ELLE A WALKING – Slow to begin.
 
ARCHIES SON – Raced wide in the early stages of the race. Over-raced in the middle stages.
 
ROCKET TO GLASGOW – Finished tailed off. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised that the filly’s nomination would be refused at TAB meetings until such time as it established form by way of country meetings.
