GENERAL
The commencement of the race meeting was delayed to enable remedial work to be carried out on a section of the track between the 350 metres and the 150 metres which was found to be inconsistent with the remainder of the circuit upon initial inspection. Once this work was completed the track was reinspected and found to be suitable for racing.

Race 1: Clermont Crane Hire Restricted Trophy 2 Handicap 800 metres:
1st – HUSSENRUN 2nd – DORSAL FIN 3rd – LITTLE PADDY 4th – RAVELLING

HUSSENRUN – Began awkwardly.

LITTLE PADDY – Was slowly into stride.

Race 2: Disney QTIS Maiden Plate 1000 metres:
1st – MOZZINATOR 2nd – CHAIN THE GATE 3rd – DAY LILLY 4th – BETTY ISABEL

MOZZINATOR – Was slowly into stride.

GYPSY SECRET - App. K Aho reported that the filly which was having its first race start had been reluctant to stretch out due to resenting the kickback.

BETTY ISABEL – Was slowly into stride.

MISHANI HEATHEN – App. M Murphy reported that the gelding which was having its first race start had been reluctant to stretch out due to resenting the kickback.

Race 3: Bulliwalah Restricted Trophy 4 Handicap Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – MR RAINMAKER 2nd – RED BOHEMIA 3rd – UNDER THE LIGHTS 4th – BONNAY FLYER

MR RAINMAKER – Shifted out under pressure near the 200 metres. Was quickly straightened.

Race 4: Robert O’Sullivan Family Resricted Trophy 1 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – BAMBY 2nd – MISHANI INVADA 3rd – COMPULSIVE ROCKET 4th – POSITIVE OUTLOOK

BAMBY – Was slowly into stride.

DREAMS UNTOLD – Was slowly into stride. App. L Dodds reported that the gelding had been reluctant to stretch out due to resenting the kickback.

Race 5: MT Douglas Ladies Bracelet Restricted Trophy 6 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – SET TO POUNCE 2nd – SERENE PEARL 3rd – MAGIC WALTZ 4th – CLASPED

EXCELLENT STYLE – Jumped away very awkwardly losing significant ground at the start. Was caught wide in the middle stages.
