Race 1: BURNETT CARRYING Maiden Plate 800 metres
 
SON DINGO – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start.
 
SHAKATA – Failed to take any competitive part in the event. Trainer’s representative J Hatfield was advised that the gelding must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again.
 
PRISCILLA MISS – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
THINKICANGIDDYUPGO –Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Raced wide with cover throughout.
 
 
Race 2: ROBERT O’SULLIVAN FAMILY BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 800 metres
 
SPLASHER – Trainer J Manzelmann advised that the gelding struck its head in the tie up stalls prior to the event. A pre-race veterinary examination was conducted, and the gelding was cleared to take its place in the event.
 
ZARNADO – Lost the off fore plate in running.
 
GRACIUOS GARCON – Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
VON SAGA – Began awkwardly and shifted out making contact with SPANISH SPIRIT. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
SPANISH SPIRIT – Bumped on jumping.
 
 
Race 3:BULLIWALAH Class B Handicap 1100 metres
 
BOOM TIME BABY – Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover throughout. Shifted out under pressure from near the 200 metres.
 
JUST FRANK – As App. S Nielson was unable to make the weight, Stewards permitted Jockey J Baker to take the ride. App. Nielson was reprimanded under AR190(3) for accepting a ride when overweight.
 
MONEY TRAVELS – Became awkward in its action for a short distance near the 1000 metres. Inconvenienced near the 100 metres when BOOM TIME BABY shifted out under pressure.
 
KOSCINA – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
CHATILLY – Hung out from near the 200 metres until the finish resulting in the mare being unable to be tested.
 
NIKSIKO – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 4: MT DOUGLAS LADIES BRACELET Class 6 Handicap 1100 metres
 
STARS DON’T RUST – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
MY BOY SAM – Shifted wider near the 600 metres and raced wide without cover from that point on.
 
WREN PLUCKED – Stewards permitted the late declaration of App. T Leslight as rider.
 
TOKAREV – Steadied for a short distance near the 1000 metres when MY BOY SAM shifted in to take up a position on the fence. App. B Johnson was advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 5: DISNEY STEAKS QTIS BENCHMARK 55 handicap 1300 metres
 
THE CROWN – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
YOU CHOOSE – App. A Donald reported that her saddle slipped near the 600 metres placing her at a disadvantage.
 
BOOMKO – Cast the near fore plate prior to the event and was reshod. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
HIGH REWARDS – Raced wide without cover throughout.
