S. Bogenhuber further added that given the horse was having its first race start tonight it would derive benefit from the race experience on this occasion.

LEGSMAN – Raced with its head in the air near the 900m whilst being restrained. Following a complaint from trainer L. Paton, stewards opened an inquiry into jockey Geran’s riding of the horse. Of particular concern to Ms Paton was jockey Geran’s apparent failure to follow her instructions, which were to lead if possible or at the very least race in a forward position. After taking evidence from jockey Geran in relation to his riding, stewards adjourned the matter to a time and date to be fixed to enable stewards to obtain betting information on the event.
