From Toowoomba Race 2- 31.10.15
When questioned in relation to the disappointing performance of MISS MEGA HERZ trainer P. Sexton advised that in his opinion the mare raced poorly as a result of being overly restrained by its rider during the middle stages of the event. He added that previously the mare has raced poorly when ridden in this manner and is better suited when not restrained during its races.
From Clifton, Race 4 – 24.10.15
Jockey B Appo the rider of I’M THE ONE was fined $300 for using his whip in consecutive strides prior to the 100m.

Race 1: GRAN CENTRAL CLASS 1 HANDICAP – 1100M
As there was no other rider available B Appo was permitted to ride UNIT 1/2kg overweight.
CRANKITUP- Bumped shortly after the start.
ORGANIZED CHAOS- Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide during the early and middle stages of the event.
DESTINY’S DESIRE- Raced wide throughout. Bumped with another runner near the 200m.
RED SPOT- Raced wide throughout. Bumped with another runner near the 200m.
UNIT- Laid in under pressure in the home straight and near the 50m made contact with the rail and became unbalanced.
DELIGHTFUL DANCER- Began awkwardly.
Race 2: PACIFIC SEEDS BENCHMARK 65 H'cap – 1000m
As there was no other rider available at Jockey declaration time, Stewards allowed Apprentice L Attard to ride THE ROBBER claiming only 1/2kg of his 2kg allowance.
MY MAISIE- Bumped on jumping away. Raced wide during the early and middle stages.
MY MOVE- Bumped on jumping away.
JAGONAL- Steadied to avoid heels shortly after the start. Raced wide during the early and middle stages.
Race 3: PACIFIC SEEDS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m
KINGFISHER BAY- Began awkwardly and lost ground.
DELINQUENT- Slow to begin. Post race Veterinary Inspection of the gelding which tailed off failed to reveal any abnormalities. Due to the poor performance a warning was issued.
TURKANA- Raced wide and laid in for the majority of the event.
Race 4: SEVEN LOCAL NEWS BENCHMARK 70 H'cap – 1850m
PROUDER- On return to scale Apprentice E. Ljung reported to Stewards that in the early stages there was an opportunity to hold a position behind the leader and to the inside of CEBILE, however her pre- race instructions were to ride the filly at the tail of the field. Apprentice Ljung added that therefore she restrained PROUDER and allowed CEBILE to cross shortly after passing the winning post on the first occasion to comply with the instructions. She further added that in her opinion the filly failed to run out the 1850m of today's event. The connections of PROUDER confirmed the instructions issued.
ALL IN TIME- Raced wide for the majority of the event.
Race 5: WINNING EDGE MAIDEN PLATE – 1850m
PRECIOUS EMBERS- Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
READY FOR ROYALTY- Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
BUSY- Raced wide from the 900m.
MR MALU- Held up rounding the home turn.
DYNAMIC EMBRACE- Steadied when bumped near the 200m.
