A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

PRECIOUS ARMOUR- Raced wide in the early stages. Commenced to tire from the 400m and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off-fore. Trainer T Lambourn was advised the filly would require a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to again be permitted to start in a race.

SPRIGGER- Jockey R Jamieson pleaded guilty to a charge under the provisions of AR131(a) in that she did, under riding, permit her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of ZOU ZOU MALAGUZIA (App A Jones) causing that runner to be tightened for room, checked and lose its rightful running. Jockey Jamiesons license to ride in races was subsequently suspended for a period of 11 days to commence 13th March 2022 up to and including the 23rd March 2022. In determining penalty Stewards considered Jockey Jamiesons record in relation to the rule, her guilty plea and forthright evidence as well as the degree of carelessness and severity of interference which were deemed to be in the mid-range. Jockey Jamieson was advised of her right to an internal review.
