Race 1: Searles TPT/Australian Age Of Dinosaurs Maiden Plate 800 metres:
1st – CAN’T FORGET 2nd – PAYOLA 3rd – RAHEEBS KINGDOM 4th – MAJOR LEGACY

CAN’T FORGET – Stewards permitted D Ballard to ride the gelding 1kg over its declare weight.

MOJAVE ROYALE – Began awkwardly and made contact with the side off the barrier stall and lost ground. Raced wide throughout.

PAYOLA – Began awkwardly.

MAJOR LEGACY – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 2: Outback Motel/Central Western Panel Repairs Open Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – GESINK 2nd – SURPASSER 3rd – LIGHT WARRIOR 4th – SEAGAL

SEAGAL - Began awkwardly and raced wide rounding the home turn.

LIGHT WARRIOR - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

OBSERVER - Was found to have suffered a bleeding attack from both nostrils in running. As this was its first occurrence Mr G Tipping was told that gelding is now barred from racing for 3 months under AR53A.

Race 3: RS Blackett & Brodie Agencies QTIS Class 1 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – ME MYSELF AND I 2nd – FLIRTING DRAGON 3rd – DANROCKING 4th – GIVE IT BERRIES

JOYFUL - Was a late scratching at 11.30am as no rider was available.

GLISTEN - Was a late scratching at 11.30am as no rider was available.

BOWLED OVER – When no other rider was available Stewards permitted D Ballard to ride the gelding 3kg over its declared weight. Jumped out at the start and made contact with another runner.

OVERTONE ARIA - Was contacted by another runner on jumping then was slow to gather pace and forced to race wide all the way.

FLIGHT RULER - Was slow into stride.

TRANSFUSION - Was forced to race very wide all the way after starting from the outside barrier and tired noticeable in the straight.

GIVE IT BERRIES - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 4: Grants Concrete P/L – Ringrose & Button Benchmark 65 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – SHANTUNG BOXER 2nd – SPECK OF GOLD 3rd – HEART THROB 4th – COURT ACTION

MORE THAN WILLING – S. Galvin replaced T. Chambers who was indisposed.

SHANTUNG BOXER - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.

HEART THROB - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre and home turns.

SPECK OF GOLD - Raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn. Prior to the declaration of correct weight S. McGovern the rider of the second place getter advised Stewards he wished to view the patrol footage of the final 200 metres of the race with a view of possibly entering a protest against the winner. After viewing the film he advised he did not wish to enter a protest.

BILLY JAY - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

COURT ACTION - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

ANOTHER SHADE - Raced wide rounding the home turn

Race 5: Central Motors/M&S Mitchell Earthmoving Class 6 Plate 1400 metres:
1st – ALL FIVES 2nd – LOUPPY BEND 3rd – NEPTUNE EXPRESS 4th – SPIRIT OF MANY

NEPTUNES EXPRESS - Jumped inwards onto another runner at the start making heavy contact and raced wide rounding the home turn.

ALL FIVES - Was contacted heavily by another runner on jumping. Nearing the winning post shifted out abruptly and made heavy contact with another runner

MONTH OF SUNDAYS - Raced wide rounding 600 metre and home turns.

LOUPPY BEND - Hampered by another runner near the winning post.
