Race 1: SPAR WINTON MAIDEN PLATE - 800 metres
HOLLYWOOD STARLET – Jockey G. Steele was the late declaration on this mare. Stewards accepted trainer G.Tipping’s explanation of this late jockey declaration.
DRAGON TOPS – Raced greenly and tried to avoid other runners causing the gelding to bump the inside rail on numerous occasions.
DANCE TO INSPIRE – Was slow away and travelled wide from the majority.
I’M LATE I’M LATE – Was slow into stride.
Race 2: DENPAQ PTY LTD OPEN HANDICAP - 1000 metres
Stewards permitted jockey S. McGovern to ride SIMOM BON ROCKET 1kg overweight but was fined under AR 120(b). .
CARRY ME – Was slow away and travelled wide for the majority of the event to avoid the dusty track conditions.
SIMON BON ROCKET – Was fractious in the barrier just prior to the start and was
subsequently was slow away. Travelled wide down the home straight to gain clear running.
Race 3: CAMPBELL HIGGINSON TOWN PLANNERS QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE - 1000 metres
SPLASH OUT – Jockey J. Esser and BORN TO FIRE – Jockey G. Steele were the late jockey declarations. Stewards accepted trainer G.Tipping’s explanation of these late jockey declarations.
DANE STROLLER was scratched at 11.30pm as there was no jockey available.
FAVOURED ONE – Could muster no early speed.
BOYS SPLURGE – Was slow into stride.
I’M CHILLIN’ – Was slow away and travelled wide for the majority of the event.

Stewards permitted jockey S. McGovern to ride SWEENEY 1kg overweight but was fined under AR 120(b).
Jockey J. Esser was the rider of READY TO DAZZLE and was permitted to ride 1.5kg overweight as there was no other suitable jockey available.
LARABEE – Was slow away.
DUKE’S DELIGHT – Travelled wide for the majority.
TEN TORINOS – Was slow away.

THE PANTZ – On jumping the gates were slow to open and bounced back causing the gelding to be slow away and then travelled wide for the majority.
