RACE ONE

Banished to the trial after her last start when making an error, PEPPA BLISS (3) has gained the return ticket after a pair of hit outs at Redcliffe and then here with a sound effort behind RIPP. Wide gates have been her kryptonite of late and with a return to a tight gate can look to capitalise.

DANCINTOTHEBEAT (1) was off the inside second line at Redcliffe last start where she was sent around the field in the early stages to sit parked over the closing 1500m. Fading to be 10m astern of the winner, she should appreciate a return to the poles here where she can look for a closing shot.

HE SAID SHE SAID (8) showed what the difference a fence draw can do when securing the stalking spot here on Tuesday and then landing the winning blow up the passing lane. He will be probing.

ONE LAST ROLL (4) was obliged to do it the tough way last start when parked and after the tough trip was not too far from the winner. He can fire some early bullets to find position here.

SELECTIONS: PEPPA BLISS (3), DANCINTOTHEBEAT (1), HE SAID SHE SAID (8), ONE LAST ROLL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: PEPPA BLISS (3) to win

RACE TWO

In a race that looks set to generate a good tempo in the early to middle stages, FLO RYDA (10) should be able to follow through to settle just behind the action. Too far back from gate 12 last start at the 2138m, he was buried two back behind subsequent winner BONNIE PRINCE LOUIS. He can arrive.

UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (7) tackled the SE Oaks last start where gate 12 made the task almost impossible as they ripped home a closing 800m of 54.5 from the front end. A similar gate stung behind LANAI the start prior where she worked hard, and despite the ODM, she can throw it down in this line up.

ROSES ARE SWEET (1) started from outside the second line at Redcliffe two starts back and angling for short cuts arrived in time to score. With the perfect trip on offer here, she can chime in.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (3) will take further benefit from two runs back from a spell and finds a nice alley to use his hustle off the arm. 3rd last start when unable to cross, he will be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: FLO RYDA (10), UPTOWN BEACHGIRL (7), ROSES ARE SWEET (1), LITTLELIONELJAMES (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FLO RYDA (10) to win

RACE THREE

With his chances dealt a cruel blow in the Qld Debry last start, TEDDY DISCO (7) went searching for some short cuts and luck from gate 12. His run the week prior in the SE Derby was full of merit and dropping back to this grade of contest, he can overcome the tough gate to highlight his class.

GENERAL MONTANA (9) was sent forward from the wide gate last start and waved on by to take up the running. Keeping them rolling in front, he drifted up in the stretch to allow a double passing lane play and had to settle for the bronze. Striking trouble two starts back, he can be joining in here.

FLYING ART (6) sat in the pocket trail last start from inside the second line over the mile and finished 7m from the winner MISTERY ROAD. Asked to do it tough when parked two back, he is a podium hope from the tricky gate.

DESPONDENT (1) is still chasing his first win of 2022 and while he has drawn a nice marble, that may not be altered in this contest. Not too far from the winner last start, he will be searching for a gap.

SELECTIONS: TEDDY DISCO (7), GENERAL MONTANA (9), FLYING ART (6), DESPONDENT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TEDDY DISCO (7) to win

RACE FOUR

Hitting the board in 6 of his past 8 starts as he chases his first win of the season, HANDSOME HERO (8) will also secure the second line options here. Just a head adrift of the winner ARTHUR LOWE last start after sitting parked from gate 4, he can plot his own course to search for the pot of gold.

ARTHUR LOWE (2) was aiming up for the hat-trick last start when tackling the Redcliffe 1780m trip. Beaten by gate 6 when retreating for position, he made some nice metres over the latter stages to score. Back to this grad, he has the gat to throw down the challenge.

EH EF EL (1) showed early hustle from gate 1 last time before releasing and then making the last dive up the passing lane was just an eyelash short of the prize. From the gate he again is in the mix.

DIKERRY (3) has hit the board in 4 of his past 5 in this grade, the latest when asked to roll the sleeves and graft it out first over when finishing 6m in arrears. He will be around the money once again.

SELECTIONS: HANDSOME HERO (8), ARTHUR LOWE (2), EH EF EL (1), DIKERRY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HANDSOME HERO (8) to win

RACE FIVE

TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (6) was sent to sit parked from gate 5 last start in a tougher contest at the mile and after working hard, faded in the closing stages as LEITHEN BURN took them all the way. Strong to the line from back in the pack two starts back, this looks a shade easier for him to arrive.

PEBBLE SANDS (5) tackled the Redcliffe sprint trip last start where he found the 1x1 trail but could not go with them in the closing stages in a solidly run affair. Wide off the track two runs back, he is yet to secure a victory here on the big deck but might just appreciate these conditions.

GRIGORA (1) is another with no victory at headquarters to his name but does come up with the right gate. Securing the easy trip behind the speed will aid his chances of chiming in.

TRACER BULLET (9) has been thereabouts in recent runs and finds the gate here to trail through in the early stages. A beaten fav last start when sitting parked form gate 1, he can join in here.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (6), PEBBLE SANDS (5), GRIGORA (1), TRACER BULLET (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE TO THE MUSIC (6) to win

RACE SIX

Chasing down three in succession, ONE BIG SHEW (1) lands the perfect alley for his pattern. From this gate in qualifying company last Saturday, he was shuffled to three back along the poles, but the space opened in the stretch to dart through and take the prize. From the gate the threepeat is on.

PERFECT CUT (2) was pushing in for the hat-trick last start when eased to find position from gate 6 in a tougher contest claimed by CRIME WRITER. Taking them all the way to score in a qualifier two starts back, he can get to the front here and look to see it out.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (7) found the front early from gate 4 last time before taking the trail and then getting to within a head of the winner UNCLE SHANK. The gate stings but he can be joining in.

GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (6) eased to find the running line from gate 4 last start and then with the right tempo was able to sweep over the top to claim a tidy win. He can be chiming in late again.

SELECTIONS: ONE BIG SHEW (1), PERFECT CUT (2), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (7), GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE BIG SHEW (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

FOR NO REASON (9) was a winner here three starts back when finding the 1x trail and with the economical trip had the required close out speed claimed the winning margin of a half-neck. Using the passing lane for 2nd at her next attempt, with the right trip she can arrive again here.

LANCELOT BROMAC (6) found the right set up last time out when easing from gate 4 to secure position and then winding up in the stretch, had the closing power to descend on them to take the prize. The wider gate dents the hopes, but a similar scenario can unfold.

GLITTER STRIP (10) has a poor strike rate here on the big deck with just the 1 win from 40 attempts. Coming into this as a last start Redcliffe winner, he receives no favours from the gate.

ARCHILLES (5) has not been too far away of late, placing in 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when sent out as fav and finishing with the bronze behind BELLA BRONSKI. He can be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: FOR NO REASON (9), LANCELOT BROMAC (6), GLITTER STRIP (10), ARCHILLES (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FOR NO REASON (9) to win

RACE NINE

Building towards another victory after some handy performances in recent outings, FATHER CHRISTMAS (5) looks to have found the right conditions in this smaller field. Sent to sit parked from the 10m tape last start when 4m from the winner, he was runner-up two back and can bear gifts here.

MILLY AN EYRE (7) is still chasing her first win since arriving in Qld, he latest effort when tackling mobile conditions from the second line. Midfield in that contest as KAR MANOR dominated, her run here three starts back off the front tape at this trip was a tidy effort for 2nd.

IM THE COMMANDO (8) was too far back last start and could not get warm over the closing stages as THE REAPER capitalised. A winner off the front end here three starts back, if he can get forward cheaply, he will throw it down.

THE NIGHT KING (1) was chasing hard here on Tuesday after being hemmed away om the inside but could not make ground as KING OF THE NORTH blitzed the field. From the inside lane, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: FATHER CHRISTMAS (5), MILLY AN EYRE (7), IM THE COMMANDO (8), THE NIGHT KING (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FATHER CHRISTMAS (5) to win
