RACE ONE

Having found one better in most of his starts, this looks the chance for HOLD MY HAT DOUG (1) to finally break the shackles of the maiden tag. Runner-up in 5 of his 8 starts, he has been the bookies pal of late, going under as the favourite at his past 4 in succession. He can get one back for the punters.

MISS MEMPHIS (4) flew the tapes here last start and had established a huge lead through the middle stages. With a solid opening half of 59.9, she was on tired legs turning off the back stretch but rallied to hold on for 2nd. Placed in 6 of her 8 starts, she looms as the main threat.

UWOHALI (3) made a mess of things at the start here last week and was never in the mix and ran her own race out the back. Placed three starts back, she looks set to grab 3rd.

SELECTIONS: HOLD MY HAT DOUG (1), MISS MEMPHIS (4), UWOHALI (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HOLD MY HAT DOUG (1) to win

RACE TWO

Second up from a spell last week from a 20m impost, KENNY KEKO (9) was a long way off the leader with 1000m to travel. Making the move three-wide she kept getting closer to the leader but ran out of time to finish a half-neck in arrears. Fitter again, she can go one better.

YOU NO ILL BE LATE (1) is a talented 3YO resuming from a spell with his lone trial to prepare over 8 weeks back. A winner at 4 of his 5 career starts, he was safely away to lead throughout at his last race appearance which followed a 24m margin first up. He will throw it down fresh up.

SONETTO (2) ended a 12 month win drought to claim her 2nd win since 2018 here last week when stepping cleanly and leading throughout. From the front tape, she can look for a repeat.

PADDY PANTS (5) was hemmed away on the inside last start from the 10m tape and went to the passing lane to make his closing raid. 3m from the winner SONETTO, he can be chiming in again.

SELECTIONS: KENNY KEKO (9), YOU NO ILL BE LATE (1), SONETTO (2), PADDY PANTS (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Returning from a spell last week when settling in the 1x1 trail, TACTICS ARE ROLLIN (1) was the best of the chasing pack behind the impressive debut winner APOLLO DREAMZ. Taking benefit from that appearance, she looks set to take advantage of the options on offer that gate 1 presents.

GEIRANGER RAINBOWS (2) was returning from a spell last start when landing gate 4 and slowly away to settle at the rear of the pack. Trying to wind up in the latter stages as APOLLO DREAMZ pulled clear, she can be sharper in this line up from the tighter gate.

SAINT LOUIS BEAT (5) tackled the Triad Consolation last time out where he struck some trouble in the run but reset to chase gamely and grab the bronze. Off the back of that effort, he is in the mix.

WANDARY DELIGHT (3) faced a wide gate in the Triad Final where she was taken back out of the machine as JEWEL MELODDY dominated. Placed in both previous starts, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: TACTICS ARE ROLLIN (1), GEIRANGER RAINBOWS (2), SAINT LOUIS BEAT (5), WANDARY DELIGHT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TACTICS ARE ROLLIN (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Landing out in gate 6 is a tricky alley for MASTER CHARLES (6) but he finds a race that looks open with no standout hopes. Grabbing the bronze in the Triad Consolation last start when 4m astern of the winner, he was 5m away at Redcliffe the start prior from inside the second line. This is a winnable contest.

O B LEGAL (8) is yet to land victory this season after claiming four wins during his 2YO term. Three back, he never found space, two starts back he struck trouble in the run and last start was trying to make ground form back in the pack over the 2138m trip. This might just be his chance.

MAYWYN MACDUFF (3) eased into the 1x1 trail at Redcliffe last start and was looming up wide around the home bend to grab the silver when 2m in arrears. From this gate he is right in the fight.

CANDYKANE (2) retreated from gate 7 in the Triad Consolation last start to find running line position before making some closing metres. Settling closer will help her chances.

SELECTIONS: MASTER CHARLES (6), O B LEGAL (8), MAYWYN MACDUFF (3), CANDYKANE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Banished to gate 7 courtesy of a starting error here last week that saw him unable to fill his allotted barrier, CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7) can look to defy the impediment. Beaten a half-neck here two starts back, he was strong to the line three back when 3rd to THE HIGH COMMANDER. Despite the outside paint, this still looks within his reach.

BART MAGUIRE (8) was a Wagga winner five runs back before arriving in Qld. Unplaced on The Triangle at his first Qld outing, he has been runner-up at his past three, the latest when looking to take them all the way here on Friday but grabbed in the last strides. With the cosy trip, he can be probing for openings to challenge.

BRAEVIEW FELLA (2) will appreciate moving down to gate 1 and from there the options become available in transit. Grabbed in the latter stages at Redcliffe three starts back, he can chime in here.

WARRADERRY (10) found the 1x1 tail from gate 3 last time out and was trying to make some closing metres when grabbing 3rd to be 6m from the winner VINDICATE. The gate is not ideal, but he can track into the contest.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7), BART MAGUIRE (8), BRAEVIEW FELLA (2), WARRADERRY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (7) to win

RACE SIX

Stripping fitter after two runs back from a spell, KEAYANG MARVEN (8) looks set to enjoy an economical trip in behind the speed. Grabbing the bronze first up, the wide gate stung as ONE BIG SHEW arrived second up. Effective when saved for one shot, he will be sweating on finding gaps with momentum.

COREY WILLIAM (1) turned around a long winless streak here five starts back with a throwback victory when fired off the arm to dictate in a slick rate. A sound effort at his following start, the next three have not been inspiring. With the improved gate, he gets his chance to relive former glories.

GLENLEDI BOY (3) will take added benefit from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell. Buried away from gate 1, he was trying to wind up late as ONE BIG SHEW arrived. He can feature in this.

MUCH BETTOR (4) released the speed last start and was trying to pick up ground along the passing lane when finishing 7m from the winner IAMAJOYRIDE. Fresh into that contest, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG MARVEN (8), COREY WILLIAM (1), GLENLEDI BOY (3), MUCH BETTOR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG MARVEN (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

Placed at his past three starts in succession, CANT BLUFF YOU (8) will be hoping for some factors to fall his way from this alley. Working home wide off the track last start when 5m in arrears of the winner LEITHEN BURN at this trip, it followed a 3rd to subsequent winner THE HIGH COMMANDER. If he finds track, he can arrive.

JACCKA WALLY (7) has no favours from the outside paint as he looks to turn around after a tough trip last time. Sitting parked from gate 4 as the mile was laid out in a sizzling sub 1.52 rate, he faded from the toll. Winning both previous starts including here at the 2138m, limiting the work can see him challenge.

MAGICOL IDEAL (1) started from inside the second line two starts back. Buried in the run and keen in transit, when he found open road, he motored home for the silver. The gate is a big asset here.

BRIDGE COIN (2) is in search of the hat-trick after making it back-to-back wins when scoring here on Friday. Owning the best closing speed up the passing lane, the threepeat is within reach.

SELECTIONS: CANT BLUFF YOU (8), JACCKA WALLY (7), MAGICOL IDEAL (1), BRIDGE COIN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ANT BLUFF YOU (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

After three successive outings where he was the bridesmaid, EH EF EL (3) was able to convert last time when taking them all the way in claiming company. Finding the front from gate 5, he kept them chasing to hold a neck margin. This is slightly tougher than claiming grade, but he is up to the challenge.

ROCK BOTTOM (7) has faced a string of tough gates in recent starts and has the task made no easier here. Sent forward to sit parked before finding running line cover last start, he could not go with them in the closing stages at the 2138m trip. Tackling stronger company two back, he can challenge.

JUMPING JACK JIMMY (4) fired off the arm at the middle trip last start to take control. With a steady opening half, he dialled it up and kept giving to the line in taking a 4m margin. He is right in the fight.

OHOKA JIMMY (1) found 1x1 cover last start but could not warm up over the closing stages as SWAYZEE claimed the prize. Chasing behind MOHS EM DOWN the start prior, the fence gate is a big help.

SELECTIONS: EH EF EL (3), ROCK BOTTOM (7), JUMPING JACK JIMMY (4), OHOKA JIMMY (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

Claiming victory in the 3YO C&G Triad Consolation last start BETTING ORIGIN (6) claimed his first win of the season in smart order. Steady early, he pressed the issue to find the front and once in control zipped home in 27.4 to take a 2m margin. Runner-up at Redcliffe the start prior, this looks within reach.

HEZ ON THE BUZZER (10) had the ace last start and was soon buried in the run and never had the space as LEITHEN BURN claimed victory. Midfield the start prior from gate 6 when doing his share of early work, which followed a bronze from gate 1 when trying to take them all the way. Despite the tough gate he can make a play in this line up.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (9) darted out from gate 5 last time out to find the space in behind the leader and held on for the silver with the cosy trip behind VINDICATE. Pressing through can see him feature.

EUGENIEN (1) resumes from a spell after her last appearance came at Menangle back in February when 4m in arrears of the winner. With a tidy preparatory trial, she has claims fresh from this alley.

SELECTIONS: BETTING ORIGIN (6), HEZ ON THE BUZZER (10), LITTLELIONELJAMES (9), EUGENIEN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTING ORIGIN (6) to win
